Specifically, I'm a new player in the Commander format.
After a chance encounter with "Ureni of the Unwritten," I now dream of becoming friends with dragons all over the world.
1. Me and Smagu
For the past month or two, whenever I was casually browsing X (formerly Twitter), a certain advertisement would always pop up.
It was a collaboration ad between the TCG Magic: The Gathering and The Hobbit.
And in that ad, there was always one specific dragon.
It was fast asleep, surrounded by gold.
It was just so incredibly cute.
Apparently, its name was "Smagu."
And apparently, it was quite strong.
I've seen up to about the second Lord of the Rings movie.
I at least know it's a story about searching for a ring.
But that is a minor issue.
I am now a fledgling Planeswalker myself.
And I am a dragon user who fights alongside "Ureni of the Unwritten."
It is only natural to crave anything with the name "Dragon."
It is no longer a desire; it is destiny.
I want it.
I absolutely must have it.
I'm going to make Smagu-chan friends with Ureni.
2. About Smagu...
The time had come.
I'd seen the ads so much I felt like we were already acquaintances, but finally, I was going to become friends with Smagu.
That adorable sleeping face I'd burned into my memory countless times over the last two months—the time had come to hold it in my own hands.
Suppressing my excitement, I opened the Hareruya shop page and typed the name into the search bar.
"Smagu"
Search.
It wasn't there.
Smagu wasn't there.
What did this mean?
A distortion in space-time, or was I the only one left behind in a different dimension?
To uncover the truth, I turned to the renowned sage of this world, Google.
"Smagu release date"
And then, a merciless oracle was delivered.

It wasn't Smagu; it was Smaug.
For the past month, I had talked to so many people about Smagu.
"I want Smagu."
"I'm definitely putting Smagu in my Ureni deck."
It's so embarrassing.
By the way, I've seen all the Sword Art Online anime and movies, but for the longest time, I thought Eugeo's name was Yujiro.
3. The Essence of Ureni
The first battle after welcoming Smaug into the fold.
The deck I'm using today is, of course, the "Ureni of the Unwritten" deck.
Early game.
My opponent's board state is progressing rapidly.
Looking around, everyone seems really strong.
However.
In this match, I was also in exceptionally good form.
Now is the time to show off the power of Ureni!
"Panharmonicon"!
If an artifact or creature entering the battlefield causes a triggered ability of a permanent you control to trigger, that ability triggers an additional time.
With this, Ureni's trigger will fire twice!

It was a divine revelation telling me to call Smaug with Ureni.

The love I let grow.

A red card. A lovely dragon. No mistake.
We've finally met. After countless Ureni triggers.
At the end of it all, we found each other.
This is the power of love. Fate is smiling upon me now.
Now come, to my battlefield.
Let us overrun this world together.
And then, I called its name.

With this, I return two of my opponents' nonland permanents to their hands.

This is the utopia of only dragons that I envisioned.
