What is $MOMO?
$MOMO is the brand and culture token of Momoyumemi.
It connects the Momo collection, our community, TCG culture and everything that will be created around the brand.
With $MOMO, collectors will be able to:
- swap between Momo NFTs and $MOMO;
- activate and upgrade their Momo;
- participate in community reward distributions;
- provide liquidity;
- access future experiences across the Momo ecosystem.
Why 520 million?
The total supply is permanently fixed at:
520,000,000 $MOMO
The number was chosen intentionally.
In Chinese internet culture, 520 is used as a way to say “I love you” because its pronunciation sounds similar to wǒ ài nǐ (我爱你).
It fits Momo perfectly: a token built around affection for art, characters, collecting and the culture we are creating together.
There is no additional owner mint and no liquid team allocation at launch.

Every official Momo is connected to the same amount:
1 Momo NFT 117,000 $MOMO
You can deposit a Momo into the NFT Vault and receive 117,000 $MOMO.
You can also return 117,000 $MOMO to the Vault and choose an available Momo from its inventory.
This creates a permanent connection between the NFT collection and the token.
The Vault becomes a shared pool where collectors can move between characters and $MOMO depending on how they want to participate.
Activate your Momo
Collectors can spend $MOMO to activate their NFT and progress through different tiers.
Each tier gives the Momo a higher weight in community reward distributions:
- Basic: 1.00×
- Tier 1: 1.25×
- Tier 2: 1.60×
- Tier 3: 2.00×
- Tier 4: 3.33×
Part of the $MOMO spent on activation and upgrades will be permanently burned until the burn cap is reached.
This gives collectors a reason to choose their favorite Momo, activate it and build its place inside the ecosystem.
How community rewards work
The idea is simple.
Activity inside the Momo ecosystem generates fees.
This includes:
- fees paid when swapping between Momo NFTs and $MOMO;
- fees earned by protocol-owned $MOMO liquidity;
- revenue from selected partnerships and community campaigns.
A share of that revenue will be used to fund rewards for activated Momo holders.
Rewards may include:
- Pokémon and One Piece packs;
- individual TCG and sports cards;
- digital collectibles;
- ETH and stablecoins;
- $MOMO;
- special partner rewards.
Instead of creating rewards through endless token emissions, the goal is to purchase and fund them using real activity generated by the ecosystem.
The loop looks like this:
Collect → trade → activate → generate fees → fund rewards → reward the community
