TL;DR

Popular YouTuber Akagami no Tomo shares his Pixel 10 Pro Fold setup, featuring a 6x10 grid, monochrome icons, and strategic widget placement for one-handed task management.

('ω') I've created something I'm satisfied with, so I'll introduce it.

Here's the one I introduced before ↓

I liked this one too because it was well-organized.

This time, I rearranged it with a focus on "Information Gathering x Monochrome."

Smartphone used: Pixel 10 Pro Fold

Launcher app: Hyperion Launcher

Grid: 6 horizontal x 10 vertical

There are 3 home screen pages in total.

First, Page 1:

Just a quick glance at the home screen gives me most of the information I want to know.

The "Gmail" in the center is an editing error.

From the top, I can see the date/time and the weather for the next few hours, making it easy to plan.

The battery widget prevents forgetting to charge.

The NERV Disaster Prevention app checks warnings for my current location; the notifications are fast and helpful.

I separate today's Google Calendar, Gmail, immediate tasks, and tasks within a week to reduce forgotten items.

Frequently used "Tier 1" apps are placed at the bottom, with the most used ones clustered in the bottom right for easy operation with the right thumb.

Many apps used during business trips to Tokyo; convenient for quick access.

Google Calendar is displayed large for schedule management.

In the Tokyo trip notes, I copy and paste the hotel address so I can say it immediately when taking a taxi home.

I also note down events and Shinkansen seats so I can see everything just by holding my phone.

Google Keep notes can also have photos attached, so it's convenient to bring up bus and train timetables just by scrolling.

Since opening settings for SIM switching is tedious, I use a SIM switching app and turned it into a widget to make switching easier.

!?

I'm also interested in the weekly weather, so I display it with a widget.

I also want to know the accuracy of weather apps, so I use a different weather app than on Page 1.

I feel like the one on Page 1 is more accurate...

I wondered if displaying this many widgets would drain the battery heavily, but my impression is that it doesn't change that much.

Looking back, only Page 1 was unified in monochrome, but since I mostly only look at Page 1, I think it's fine.

Also, I'd like to display my iPad in the battery widget, but since the phone is Android, it seems impossible?

Finally, an introduction to the apps I use:

Weather app on Page 1 → "Transparent Clock & Weather"

Rain cloud radar/Advisories/Warnings → "NERV Disaster Prevention"

Battery → "Pixel Standard"

Calendar → "G Calendar"

To-Do list, Notepad → "Google Keep"

SIM switching → "SIM Easy Check & Switch"

Weather app on Page 3 → "Weathernews"

Thank you for reading to the end. m(_ _)m
