Today, the special event "10th ANNIVERSARY OSOMATSUSAN SPECIAL 6DAYS Opening Festival," celebrating the 10th anniversary of the TV anime "Mr. Osomatsu," was held on June 6, 2026, at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo. The event featured Takahiro Sakurai (Osomatsu), Yuichi Nakamura (Karamatsu), Hiroshi Kamiya (Choromatsu), Jun Fukuyama (Ichimatsu), Daisuke Ono (Jyushimatsu), and Miyu Irino (Todomatsu), along with Aya Endo (Totoko), Kunihiro Kokuryu (Chibita), Yoji Ueda (Dekapan), Nobuo Tobita (Dayon), and Momoko Saito (Hatabou). The sextuplets themselves also appeared to celebrate the 10th anniversary with the fans gathered at the venue.
The event kicked off with a performance by the sextuplets to the Season 4 opening theme, "Osomatsu-san no Bombaché!" As the sextuplets danced lightly to the rhythmic clapping from the audience and the excitement in the venue rose, the cast members took the stage to loud cheers and applause. During the greetings, Daisuke Ono (Jyushimatsu) called out, "Please join me!" to which the audience responded loudly with "Hustle, hustle! Muscle, muscle!"

After the screening, the event began with a talk corner reflecting on Episode 13, "The Matsuno Ten," the final episode of Season 4. First, looking back at the songs that ranked high in "The Matsuno Ten," specifically Iyami's song "Katte ni Suru Zansu," Hiroshi Kamiya (Choromatsu) praised it, saying, "It's amazing that (Kenichi) Suzumura-kun can sing in Iyami's voice!"
The conversation moved to "Akatsuka No. 2," sung by Dekapan and Dayon. Yoji Ueda (Dekapan) shared, "When I asked how to sing the song, I was told, 'You can forget the character voice' (laughs). Since some people have a gap between their speaking and singing voices, I wondered if Dekapan would sound like that if he sang." Nobuo Tobita (Dayon) added, "The first thing Mr. Matsubara told me was to forget the character (laughs)," drawing laughter from the audience.

During the talk about "NEET Paradise" sung by the sextuplets, the cast got excited discussing each character's singing style. When asked about recording memories and impressions of the song, Hiroshi Kamiya (Choromatsu) said, "I was instructed to make it sound annoying," while Miyu Irino (Todomatsu) shared, "I didn't get any specific instructions, but Todomatsu could sing it as he is, so it was a perfect fit!" Momoko Saito (Hatabou) remarked, "I was moved to see that (the sextuplets) could be this cute when they really try!" and the venue buzzed with excitement over "NEET Paradise."

Next was the "Memory-matsu-san! Reflection Quiz," a special project themed around the 10-year history of "Mr. Osomatsu." Quizzes were based on past interview articles and historical next-episode previews. Difficult questions were asked, such as guessing Nobuo Tobita's answer to "How would you entertain Dayon if he came to your house?" from a 2018 festival pamphlet, and Yoji Ueda's answer to "If you had to go to a summer festival with one of the sextuplets, who would it be?" The cast struggled while relying on their memories, and the audience laughed as they answered harmoniously while sharing old stories.

In the following next-episode preview quiz, they looked back at the 10-year history from Season 1 to Season 3, bringing up many nostalgic episodes. When asked about memories of the popular Season 2, Episode 15 "Karamatsu Taxi," Aya Endo (Totoko) said, "I thought it was a rare combination!" and Yuichi Nakamura (Karamatsu) added, "It was funny, wasn't it? Ignition!" quoting Karamatsu's lines. The venue was filled with laughter throughout these 10th-anniversary-specific stories.

Toward the end of the event, a series of new information to color the 10th anniversary was announced.
First, it was announced that a photo book for Karamatsu, who won 1st place in the character category of last year's "Mr. Osomatsu General Election," would be released today, June 6. Loud cheers erupted from both the audience and the cast. This special project, realized only because of the 10th anniversary, allows fans to fully enjoy Karamatsu's charm.
Next, items from the collaboration with the world-renowned denim brand "DENHAM," realized through the "Miyu Irino Goods Development Lab," were finally unveiled! At the event, the cast appeared wearing the actual denim and tote bags. When the designs—featuring details like sextuplet-themed embroidery and linings—were introduced, the audience responded with surprise and applause. Miyu Irino, the head of the "Goods Development Lab," passionately stated, "The shape and material are great, and since DENHAM is known for its scissor collaboration, I'd be happy if you could see the denim, tote bags, and bandanas in person! These are items you can enjoy for a long, long time!" Cast members like Sakurai, Fukuyama, Endo, and Kokuryu, who actually wore the denim, also shared their impressions. Furthermore, a second round of orders for the collaboration tote with hand-paint artist yacco paint works was announced, drawing attention as a special collaboration fitting for the 10th anniversary.
In the final greetings, the sextuplets expressed their gratitude to the fans who have supported them for 10 years. Irino said, "I'm so happy we could all gather like this, as opportunities are becoming fewer! Please keep supporting us!" Ono closed with Jyushimatsu's line, "One word, this is it. Thank you, oversized goodbye home run!!!!!" sparking huge applause. Fukuyama added, "Today is June 6, and for Osomatsu, the more '6's the better, so I'd be happy to meet you all again when '6's line up like this." In his second greeting, Kamiya said, "Just as you love Mr. Osomatsu, I love you all. Thank you so much." Nakamura reflected, "11 years ago at the advance screening, I was convinced of the fun and said I wanted to keep this going as content we could do forever, so I'm very happy we've actually continued for over 10 years." Finally, Sakurai sent a message: "I've been made to laugh so much by this work for 10 years. I hope to walk with this work for the next 10 years as well, so please keep supporting us," and the event concluded amidst thunderous applause.

Ten years since the broadcast began in 2015. This event, full of laughter and love, was a special occasion to look back on the 10-year history of the TV anime "Mr. Osomatsu" while feeling anticipation for the future.
Season 4, Episode 3 "Thunderstorm and Buzz Cut" and Episode 13 (Final Episode) "The Matsuno Ten," which were screened today, are playing in theaters nationwide until June 11 (Thursday).
