9 of my favorite Grok Bot hacks.
I have been getting my hands dirty with Grok Bot, and the default setup is only the starting point.
Creating a few bots is easy. The useful part is teaching them your context, giving them clear roles, and building a system that can keep working without you babysitting every conversation.
These nine hacks turn separate AI chats into a connected team.

Teach the System Your Context
Hack #1: Use a Grill Me Skill
The value of an agent team depends on how well it understands you.
I use a Grill Me skill to make Grok Bot relentlessly interview me until we reach shared understanding. I drag the same skill I use with Claude and Codex into Grok Bot, then tell it to read the file, create its own private skill, and interview me about my business and current goals.

I run this before quarterly planning, a new automation, a new project, or any idea where I need the agents to understand what is in my head before they start doing the work.
The finished skill lives under Plugins → Yours, and I can trigger it later by saying, “Grill me about this plan.”
No complicated setup. No giant system prompt. Just a structured interview that becomes reusable context.
Give One Bot the Front Door
Hack #2: Set Up a Chief of Staff
I have content agents, research agents, planning agents, and general agents, but I do not want to remember which one owns every task.
Klaus is my chief of staff and the only bot I talk to.
Its instruction is simple: before doing a task, check whether another Grok Bot owns it. Delegate first, do the work itself only when no specialist fits, then bring the result back to the main conversation.
Each specialist has a narrow description. Motion creates graphics and animations. Eyes handles research. Miner works on content research. Coffee plans my morning. Views helps with content strategy.
Klaus reads those descriptions, sends the work to the right bot, and keeps me in one conversation.
I can see Klaus message Motion, Eyes, and Miner from the main thread. Motion even created the graphics used earlier in the video and returned the finished files as a zip.
Hack #3: Let the Chief Build the Team
The next question is which specialist bots are actually worth creating.
After the Grill Me interview, I ask Klaus to review my goals and recommend the missing roles. It can see the agents I already have, avoid redundant ideas like another chief of staff, and suggest specialists that match what I am working on now.
In my setup, it recommended three agents called Tube, Community, and Voice instead of a generic helper, another thumbnail bot, or a second chief of staff.

As my priorities change, I can tell Klaus what I am struggling with and let it redesign the team around the current constraint.
Control What Every Agent Knows
Hack #4: Separate Shared and Private Memory
Grok Bot saves memory automatically, but there is a difference between what one agent knows and what every agent should know.
Shared knowledge holds facts like my company, Chicago location, leadership team, YouTube channel, funnel, and the tools our business uses. Agent-level memory holds details that should stay inside one relationship, such as notes that only Klaus needs.

This distinction gets more important as the team grows. Plugins such as Gmail and Calendar may be available across multiple bots, but the useful context still needs to be placed at the right level.
I explicitly tell the agent whether new information belongs in shared knowledge or its private memory.
There is also a useful bonus feature: any important message can become a separate thread. I can explore one idea with Klaus, then jump back to the main conversation without mixing everything together.
Connect and Track the Work
The system gets much more useful once every agent can reach the same tools and report what it is doing.
Hack #5: Use Composio for More Apps
Grok Bot makes native plugins easy, but the built-in catalog does not cover everything.
I use Composio when I need services such as YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn, GoHighLevel, or Perplexity.
Composio has hundreds of integrations, and Grok Bot can connect to Composio as a plugin.

That gives the agents one bridge to apps they could not reach directly.
I also store this rule in shared knowledge so every bot knows that YouTube, Perplexity, LinkedIn, and future connections are available through Composio.
Hack #6: Log Agent Work in ClickUp
Once I am sending tasks from my phone and desktop, agent work gets messy fast.
I created a skill called Log Grok Bot Work to ClickUp. When I ask Klaus to research the top five voice AI agent providers, it creates the project in ClickUp before delegating the research to Eyes.
The ClickUp board shows the project and whether it is in progress or complete.

Inside each task, I can see the owner, start time, progress notes, links to the work, and what the agent is waiting on. In this example, Eyes owns the research through Klaus.
The work no longer disappears inside a chat I forgot to reopen.
Teach It Once, Then Automate It
Hack #7: Teach a Task by Demonstration
Some workflows are visual and annoying to explain in words.
Grok Bot agents share a cloud computer. Their desktops can look different, but under the hood they work on the same machine.
I can open that computer, click Teach a task, and demonstrate the workflow while Grok Bot records my screen. The example could be searching Google Images for Chicago Cubs food, saving specific files, working through an unusual interface, or handling a step that depends on what is visible.

When I stop recording, Grok Bot analyzes the demonstration and turns it into a reusable skill.
Hack #8: Create Routines
The Grok Bot mobile app is useful when I am away from my desk, but routines let the work happen without an open app at all.
A routine is a recurring task that a bot runs on a schedule or event. I give it a name and instruction, then tell it which skill to run or which agents to contact.

The schedule can run hourly, daily, at a custom interval, or from supported events. There are six event options right now, including Slack messages, Git activity, and Microsoft Teams messages.
Because the work runs in Grok's cloud, the routine can keep going when my phone, computer, and Grok Bot app are turned off.
Hack #9: Save Agent Computer Profiles
The agent computer becomes much more useful when it can reuse a signed-in browser profile.
I logged Klaus into my Skool account once.

Then I taught it how to find community posts and like them, and connected that skill to a daily or weekly routine.
The credentials stay inside the saved profile. I do not need to paste a password into the chat every time the agent uses the site.
Teach the task once. Save the authenticated profile. Let the routine reuse both.

The best Grok Bot setup is not the one with the most agents.
It is the one where every agent knows its role, shares the right context, reports its work, and can turn a successful process into something reusable.
