Launched as a web media in September 2017 with the concept "Enjoy work and life more," Shin R25 is about to celebrate its 9th anniversary.
To everyone who always watches Shin R25, thank you very much.
This is a sudden announcement, but we have decided to bring our challenge as a media outlet to a close at this time.
Shin R25 will end its media operations at the end of September 2026.
Due to recent changes in the media operation environment, Shin R25 felt the challenge of capturing the next major growth trend.
Based on this situation, we decided that concentrating Shin R25's human resources into the business domains that our parent company, CyberAgent, is focusing on is the most rational choice for the future of the entire group.
To be honest, there were many conflicts leading up to this decision. However, now both I and the team members are convinced and view this decision positively.
We have been operating media for about 9 years in the rapidly changing world of the internet. During this time, if asked whether Shin R25 was able to significantly change society, I don't have the confidence to puff out my chest and say "Yes."
However, while continuing media operations, there were many times when we received happy voices from viewers, performers, client companies, and team members working together.
That was the driving force that allowed us to continue media operations with high motivation, and through those voices, I feel that our content was able to create small, positive differences in various people's careers and lives.
Also, everyone who received Shin R25's message will remain in society and continue to be active. I believe this means that even if media operations end, what we left behind and the DNA of Shin R25 will not disappear.
Looking back like this, I was able to be involved in a truly rewarding project for 9 years. To everyone involved with Shin R25, thank you very much.
And the end of one story is also the start of a new story. From now on, the members of Shin R25 will start new challenges in their respective new fields.
We want to close the curtain on 9 years of media operation with a positive, down-to-earth message that is typical of Shin R25 until the very end.
By showing our own attitude of moving toward new challenges positively, we want to push the backs of those who want to start something or challenge something. That is our final mission at Shin R25.
From now until the end of September, the editorial staff will be releasing various graduation content on the Shin R25 Channel.
The concept is "The end is the beginning."
