Struggling to subscribe to ChatGPT or Claude because of payment issues? Want a crypto debit card but don't want to upload your ID, passport, or overseas address?
Today I'm introducing Wovia, which focuses on low-barrier card issuance.

Based on current information, the opening fee is only 1U (approx. $1), no KYC is required, and all four cards support WeChat Pay, Alipay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
However, the four cards serve different purposes. If you want to subscribe to AI services, make sure you pick the right one.
This article has two parts: first, the advantages and how to choose; second, the step-by-step process from registration to spending.
I. What are Wovia's Advantages? Common Benefits of All Four Cards
First, low opening fee: just 1U
If you just want to try out overseas payments, you don't need to pay tens of dollars upfront.
But there's an important detail:
The opening fee is 1U, but you must deposit at least 10U initially to activate the card.
This 10U goes into your card balance and can be spent immediately after activation—it's not an extra fee. Think of it as: 1U for opening, 10U for initial top-up (which becomes spendable balance). Note that monthly fees and transaction costs apply separately.
Second, no KYC required
According to current issuer info, all four card types allow mainland Chinese users to apply without uploading IDs, passports, or proof of overseas address. No overseas phone number needed either.
Great for those who lack overseas documents and want a hassle-free setup.
Third, dedicated cards for AI subscriptions
If your main goal is paying for ChatGPT, Claude, etc., focus on these two:
- Hong Kong AI Ad Card: 44135829
- US AI E-commerce Card: 532113
Fourth, web-based registration—no app download needed
You can register, view cards, and manage balances directly in your browser.

Research first, then decide.
Fifth, each card has a specific use case
Some people need AI subs, others do ad campaigns or cross-border e-commerce, while some prioritize daily spending. Wovia offers four BINs so you can match your needs.
All support WeChat, Alipay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, but merchant coverage varies.
Sixth, you can hold multiple cards for different purposes
E.g., one for AI subs, another for daily expenses. The FAQ states you can hold one card per BIN type.
II. Differences Between the Four Cards & How to Choose
Hong Kong AI Ad Card: My Top Recommendation

Details here: KeKeYa U-Card Guide
If you're mainly subscribing to AI tools like me, start here.
It covers ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, plus software subs, ads, and overseas shopping.
Supported merchants include:
- WeChat, Alipay, Apple Pay, Google Pay;
- Amazon, Shopify, eBay;
- Agoda, Airbnb, Booking;
- Figma, Adobe, Zoom, GoDaddy.
Note: Midjourney and PayPal are not currently listed as supported. Check your target platforms before applying.
US AI E-commerce Card: For AI + Cross-Border Shopping

Details here: KeKeYa U-Card Guide
Also supports ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and major mobile wallets.
Best if you also shop on Amazon, Shopify, Temu, AliExpress, or eBay.
My rule of thumb: For AI + software tools, prefer the HK card. For AI + e-commerce/ads, consider this US card.
HK Digital Business Card: For E-commerce & Travel

Details here: KeKeYa U-Card Guide
Focused on business expenses: cross-border e-commerce, travel bookings, and SaaS tools.
Supports Amazon, Shopify, Agoda, Figma, Adobe, etc.
⚠️ Does NOT support ChatGPT/Claude subscriptions. Don't confuse it with the other HK card.
US Ad & Consumer Card: Daily Spending & Wallets

Details here: KeKeYa U-Card Guide
Good for daily purchases, PayPal, and retail apps like Walmart, Shein, Grab, Foodpanda.
Not intended for AI subscriptions.
Reminder: Support for a wallet doesn't guarantee success with every merchant due to regional/risk controls.

2. Transfer USDT On-Chain (Recommend 11U for first card)

3. Select Card Type

Choose based on your use case. Verify the full BIN number carefully—the cards look similar.
For AI subs, I recommend HK AI Ad Card 44135829.
4. Click "Open Now"

5. Click "Activate Now"

6. Pay $11 USD (1U fee + 10U balance)

The 10U becomes your spendable balance after activation.
7. Set Fund Password

8. Email Verification

9. Enter Fund Password

10. Wait ~30 Seconds

11. Activation Successful

12. Bind Payment Methods or Make First Subscription (Alipay Example)
After activation, bind WeChat/Alipay/Apple Pay/Google Pay or pay directly at merchants.

13. Verify Actual Charges
Check total deposits, fees, spending, and remaining balance to understand true costs.

My Final Recommendation
For AI subscriptions, I strongly recommend the HK AI Ad Card 44135829.
It fits my needs best, covering AI plus many overseas tools. The US AI E-commerce card is a solid alternative. The other two suit business/daily spending better.
Always verify your target merchants first, test with small amounts, and avoid over-committing funds early.
