Exactly 135 days ago today, I started investing in US stocks in earnest.
Let's go back a bit.
Last September, I opened my first NISA account and bought stocks for the first time in my life.
For three months, I simply observed the stocks I bought, staring at the charts and the market every day without any basic buying or selling.
In December, three months later, I decided on my policy.
I won't do investment trusts.
I won't become a day trader.
"Aim for ten-baggers through long-term investment"
With that decided, I selected my sectors in December.
During the sector selection process, I devoured company documents, videos, and social media information.
The stories of modern geniuses, led by Elon Musk, were just too interesting.
Halfway through, I narrowed my focus and dug deep into Space and Quantum computing.
Before I knew it, I had no time for my only hobby (manga), and even my sleep was taken away.
When I searched for company names I was interested in on YouTube, I had watched every single video that came up, including those in English.
The daily updates on humanity's challenge for the future, happening in real-time, were that exciting.
To use an analogy, it's like Shohei Ohtani.
It's equal to the happiness of being able to watch Dodgers' Ohtani-san continue to create legends in real-time.
The experience of witnessing Chapter Zero of the beginning of Space and Quantum in real-time is something I can tell my descendants about 50 years from now.
I never imagined, even by a millimeter, that I could find enjoyment equivalent to Ohtani-san's daily performance back when I saw a video of Elon playing around with the Dacho Club.
Kickoff was January 13th this year.
As a result of going all-in on Space and Quantum computers—
Unrealized loss of 17 million yen
At the end of March, I was carrying an unrealized loss of 17 million yen.
The investment in Space and Quantum computers that I started in January turned negative due to the situation in Iran and the Middle East in late February, forcing me into a life of unrealized losses for about a month and a half.
People around me kept telling me, "You should quit stocks already,"
Yet, I spent my days continuing to buy more, thinking, "If I don't buy now, when will I!"
Minus 17 million yen—a number that would normally break one's heart.
Despite carrying a massive unrealized loss, I didn't break.
Far from breaking, I actually thought,
"This is the bottom. In fact, I'll buy now! Now is the buying opportunity!"
And I kept buying.
The actual bottom was about 10 days after I ran out of cash and had no more additional funds.
March.
Every day I bought more stocks and increased my losses, and even after my cash ran out, I watched my assets continue to decrease for 10 days.
The reversal happened on April 8th.
The first weekend of April.
It was the timing when people wondered if the first Iran ceasefire negotiations would take place.
I wrote about the transition during that time (January to April 2026) in my previous article.
May 11th.

At the end of that article, I wrote:
"The future is to aim for a ten-bagger over the next 3 to 10 years."
Only 18 days since then—
On Wednesday, May 27th, my unrealized gains exceeded "100 million yen" for the first time!!!
135 days since I decided to get serious!
Achieved in about 4 months!
Honestly, it's too perfect!!!
Something is wrong!!!
Ah.
SpaceX is having the largest IPO in history on June 12th.
I see.
I was wrong.
The one who was wrong was me.
I am Elon Musk-Murai.
Even Peter Thiel said,
"I will never bet against Elon. Ever."
On this personally commemorative day, I'll organize my thoughts again.
How did I get here?
- Stick to the simple belief of "aiming for nothing but ten-baggers."
- Concentrate entirely on Space and Quantum computers.
- Go all-in on the stocks I like most within those sectors. Buy even if they are up. Buy even more if they go down (only when I have cash).
- A muscle-brained strong style that doesn't even require diversification within the sector.
I do not recommend copying this.
Currently, my Space/Quantum portfolio looks like this.
I haven't bought or sold anything since the last article; I'm just holding steady.
Crazy grip strength.
The only thing increasing is the unrealized gain.
I won't take profits.
I won't turn them into "free shares" (selling the principal).
Future downturns will surely come, but I'll ignore them (committed to ignoring them in the future).
The only time I will sell stocks is when I need business funds for my main job, the dorayaki shop, and I will only liquidate the necessary amount.
That is my rule.
Please forgive me regarding the dorayaki shop.
It is my main business.
It's a capital rotation from Space to a dorayaki shop in Harajuku.
Now, these are all stocks I believe will push humanity to the next stage in 5 or 10 years.
Last week, SpaceX's S-1 (prospectus) was released, and yesterday NASA updated details on the Moon Base plan. The daily news is endless. Companies like Rocket Lab continue to acquire core firms and the leading space companies are becoming more dense. AST SpaceMobile is preparing for the BlueBird launch in mid-June.
Everything is moving toward the SpaceX IPO on June 12th, the largest in history.
