Instructions

The author has set the instructions to private. Below is a brief overview.

This skill is a speech analysis tool based on Habermas's theory of "communicative rationality," designed to help users determine whether a statement conforms to the principles of rational communication. It's applicable to any scenario requiring an assessment of whether the other party is "reasoning effectively," whether it's a conversation log, article commentary, meeting speech, or social media discussion. Users simply provide the speech content to be analyzed, and the skill will conduct an in-depth analysis from multiple dimensions. First, it checks each of Habermas's four rules of "communicative rationality"—"Anyone can participate," "Anything can be asked," "Truth can be spoken," and "Only reason prevails"—to see if the speech contains exclusionary elements, blocks questions, is insincere, or uses irrational means. Next, it examines the implicit commitments to "truthfulness," "legitimacy," and "sincerity" in the speech, assessing its factual basis, logical rationality, and the speaker's true intention. After these detailed diagnoses, the skill provides a clear and comprehensive judgment: whether the other party is reasoning effectively, and their true purpose in doing so. Finally, based on the analysis results, the skill offers specific and actionable suggestions. If the other party is engaging in rational communication, it will dissect their argumentative structure and provide strategies and techniques for further effective dialogue. If the other party is not reasoning properly, it will diagnose the problem, identify the irrational tactics used, and offer coping strategies and example phrases for trying to steer the conversation back to rationality, setting boundaries, or, if necessary, withdrawing from the dialogue. All analysis results will be presented in a clearly structured report to help users better understand the communication context and take appropriate action.
