Коротко

The author argues that claiming a lack of malice is a selfish excuse to avoid responsibility, emphasizing that true maturity requires a full apology regardless of intent.

A certain cabaret hostess is currently under fire for revealing another hostess's age.

While her loose lips and lack of discretion are certainly issues, I was more concerned by her subsequent response.

She isn't reflecting on her actions.
She doesn't recognize the gravity of the situation.

She says:

"I didn't mean any harm, I want you to understand that."

---

This type of person is truly troublesome, and if you have someone like this near you, you should distance yourself. They are the type of person who thinks, "If I didn't mean any harm, I should be forgiven."

Deep down, they are using the lack of malice as an escape. They think it can't be helped because they are just being "honest." Even when they apologize, the focus is entirely on themselves.

No matter how much the other person is hurt, or how serious the incident is, in the end, they can only see themselves.

Their reflection and apology are not for the sake of the other person. This type of person never truly reflects in the real sense of the word.

___

Once something has happened, it cannot be undone. Whether you meant harm or not, being an adult means apologizing fully and taking responsibility without making excuses or protecting yourself.

I wrote this because I often see people who use "no malice" as a free pass while dragging everyone around them into trouble.
