A Halloween event is live from today through 31 October. Each day one of 14 sealed doors unlocks, revealing a reward or a task that pays one when you finish it. The prizes are drawn from the ether.fi stack: ETHFI, weETH, and staking perks. Every door is sealed until its day. You can look. You cannot open them early.

Who can take part
Anyone who has used ether.fi can take part. Every participant sees the same set of rewards behind the doors, but how much you unlock and the tier you land in depend on how you have used the protocol, measured on the day each door opens.
- eETH and weETH holders can open daily doors tied to their liquid restaking position.
- ETHFI holders carry access to doors with governance-themed rewards and buyback-linked perks.
- Stakers running validators through the ether.fi Stake product get doors with validator and operator perks.
- ether.fi Cash users unlock doors with cashback boosts and card-themed drops.
- Every user who opens a door earns a small Loyalty Points bump on top, regardless of what was behind it.
How the doors work
Your door for the day is determined by your ether.fi activity:
- Each door unlocks at 00:00 UTC on its assigned day and stays open for 24 hours.
- Behind each door is either a direct reward you can claim, or a task you need to complete to get the reward.
- A larger ether.fi position opens a larger reward tier behind the same door.
- Opening a door reads your position. It does not move, lock, or unstake anything.
- Reducing your position before a door opens reduces the reward tier accordingly.
What’s behind the doors
Most of the drops flow to active users, not to passive wallets.
- ETHFI drops: direct token rewards credited straight to your wallet, sized by your activity on the day the door opens.
- weETH boosts: temporary APR uplifts on your liquid restaking position, plus one-time weETH drops for completing tasks.
- Staking perks: Loyalty Points multipliers, priority slots on new ether.fi Stake rounds, and cashback boosts on ether.fi Cash for the week.
- Every door opened by midnight 31 October counts toward a Halloween completion bonus for users who clear the full set.

Once the window closes on 31 October, all claimed rewards are finalised and credited directly to your own wallet. ETHFI drops land as liquid tokens, weETH boosts apply to your existing position, and staking perks are added to your account for the next round. Missed a door? It stays sealed.
