Every clip account you follow is an office.

Somebody sits on the stream for six hours waiting for the moment. Somebody cuts it. Somebody writes the caption. Somebody schedules it, somebody answers the DMs, somebody counts the views on Friday. Five chairs, five salaries, and the clip still goes up forty minutes after the chat has moved on.

On 20 August at 02:31:07 the chat on a Clavicular stream went nine times above its normal speed. At 02:31:44 the clip was live on X with a caption. It did 6.6 million views.

Nobody cut it. Nobody wrote the caption. Nobody was awake.

I connected Grok to Twitch and Kick and built a studio of agents that does the whole job the office used to do. The studio is called GROKCUT. This month it cut 71.3 million views across the accounts I run, and the bill was $300.

I did not code any of this. I logged into Grok, described the job the way you would brief a new hire, and showed it one clip I had cut by hand.

This is the full setup, in the order you will build it. By the end you will have a studio that watches 40 chats, cuts the moment, writes the caption, and wakes you once per clip for a single tap.

Step 1 · Count the office you are replacing

Before you hire a single agent, write down what a clip costs when humans make it. Not because the number is surprising. Because the number is the reason the rest of this article exists.

Streamers and clipping programs pay clippers about $1 per 1,000 views. That is the market rate, and every clip office is built on it. A clip that does a million views is worth $1,000 of somebody's work, and the office that produced it needed five people to get there:

  • a watcher: sits on the stream and waits
  • a cutter: finds the in and the out
  • a caption writer: turns the moment into a sentence
  • a scheduler: posts it at the right hour on the right account
  • a manager: chases the other four and counts the views

Now the studio version of the same five chairs:

WATCH: reads chat speed on every stream on the list

TIMING: cuts 26 seconds each side of the spike and removes the dead air

HOOK: writes the caption from the question the chat was already asking

  • SCRIBE: builds the card and posts it after the tap
  • CHIEF: me. One tap per clip.

71.3 million views this month at $1 per 1,000 is $71,300 of clipper payroll. Twelve months of that is $855,600. The agents cost $300 a month, $3,600 a year. The difference is $852,000, and that is the number I put at the top of the post that brought you here.

The office was never the edge. The moment was.

Step 2 · Hire WATCH and give it the chats

You cannot watch 40 streams. You cannot watch one for six hours without missing the thirty seconds that mattered. The first agent solves exactly that, and it does it without looking at the video at all.

It reads the chat.

When a moment happens on a stream, the chat knows before anyone else does. Messages per second jump. The same three words repeat. CLIP IT shows up thirty times in a minute. That spike is the signal, and it is visible in text, which means an agent can read it across 40 streams at once.

Open Grok, create an agent instead of starting a normal chat, name it WATCH, and give it this:

The line that matters is against its own last ten minutes. A Kick stream idling at 3 messages a second and a Clavicular stream idling at 6 have different baselines, and a spike is a multiple of the baseline, not a fixed number. On the night of 20 August the baseline was 6 a second and the peak was 58. That is 9.4x, and WATCH woke the rest of the studio at 02:31:07.

Step 3 · Give TIMING the cut rule

A human clipper watches the moment back three times and still cuts it wrong. Too early and you lose the setup. Too late and the chat has already moved on. Twelve seconds of dead air in the middle and the viewer is gone before the line lands.

The rule that works is mechanical, which is exactly why an agent does it better than a tired person at three in the morning:

On 20 August TIMING set the in point at 02:30:41 and the out at 02:31:33. Fifty-two seconds, twelve of them dead air, gone. The question the chat was reacting to landed at second nineteen with two seconds of silence in front of it, which is where a viewer leans in.

Step 4 · Teach HOOK the caption by showing it one clip

The caption is the part where every clip office believes it is irreplaceable. It is also the part where the agent needs the least instruction, because the caption is not written. It is found.

The chat writes it. Sixty seconds before the spike, the chat is already asking the question the clip answers. The caption is that question.

The Clavicular clip that did 6.6 million views went out with this: Clavicular let THREE girls try to win him over, until one asked the question they ALL wanted answered. That sentence was not invented. It was the chat, cleaned up.

Yesterday the same studio posted this from another account: Clavicular spent the entire night making moves on EVERY girl he met, until guys waited outside and started a STREET FIGHT with him. It is at 1.8 million views and 10K likes as I write this. Same shape. Setup, turn, one word in capitals per line.

So you do not explain captions to HOOK. You show it one you wrote by hand and tell it why it worked:

On the first night HOOK drafted three. Number one described the scene. Number three named the moment. Number two asked the question the chat was asking, and it won at 02:31:38 without me reading the other two.

The caption is already in the chat. The agent just has to find it.

Step 5 · Put SCRIBE on the gate

Three agents have now produced a clip and a caption, and none of them is allowed to post. That is on purpose. The fourth agent exists to build one card and wait.

The card is the whole interface of the studio. It is what arrives on my phone:

At 02:31:41 the card arrived. At 02:31:44 it was live. Thirty-seven seconds from spike to public, and the only human action in the chain was a thumb.

Everything before the tap is reversible. Everything after it is public.

Step 6 · Draw the line where the studio stops

An agent that has to ask about everything is useless. An agent that never asks is dangerous. The line between them is not about how big a task is. It is about whether you can undo it.

Write this once and paste it into every agent in the studio:

Notice what is on the parked list. Posting is there, and that is the tap. Messaging a streamer is there, because a clip account that DMs streamers on its own is a clip account that gets blocked. Spending is there even for a $40 boost. Deleting is there permanently.

The studio finished 71.3 million views of reversible work this month and asked me for exactly one thing per clip.

Agents that ask about everything are useless. Agents that never ask are dangerous. The line is reversibility.

Step 7 · Put the studio on a night shift

Everything so far still starts with you. You open Grok, you say go, the chain runs. That is the old job with better staff.

The moments worth clipping happen when the US is awake and I am not. Clavicular, N3on, the Kick IRL crowd, all of it peaks between 02:00 and 05:00 my time. So the studio runs on a schedule, and the schedule is one sentence:

The last clause is the one people leave out, and it is the one that stops a broken night from becoming a broken account. A studio that guesses when the feed breaks posts garbage at 4am. A studio that stops sends you one line at 8am.

The chat does not sleep in your time zone. The studio does not have to either.

Step 8 · Hire the bench

Four agents cover one stream well. They do not cover forty. The temptation is to hire forty agents, one per stream, and by Friday half of them have done nothing.

Ownership is the test. An agent earns a seat when it owns a recurring job, keeps its own memory of it, and hands work to somebody else most nights. A stream that spikes twice a week is a job. A stream that spikes twice a month is a line on somebody else's list.

So the bench is eight cutters, each owning a group of streams, all running the same chain with the same fence. One card hires all of them:

Eight cards, eight groups, forty streams. The five lead agents run the chain on whatever spikes hardest, the bench runs it on everything else, and SCRIBE holds one queue for all of it.

One rule on top, because it decides whether the views count. The same clip never goes out twice with the same caption. X treats duplicate text as spam and buries the second copy, so a clip that goes to two accounts gets two captions from HOOK, and the card says which is which.

Fifty seats in the account. Nine in use. The limit was never the seats.

Step 9 · Count the week on Friday

Automation rots quietly. A chat feed changes format, a stream goes off the list, a routine keeps firing and produces nothing, and because it runs while you sleep nobody notices for three weeks.

So the studio grades itself every Friday, and I read the answer over coffee:

Counters, not opinions. Spikes seen, clips cut, taps made, views done. The agents keep the logs, so they can report on themselves, and one spot check per routine by hand keeps them honest.

The bill

This is the part every clip office will ask about, so here it is in one place.

The agents run on one Grok account. The seat is bought once, not per agent, so the ninth cutter did not add a second subscription. My cost this month was $300, all in, and that includes the nights nothing spiked.

Against it: 71.3 million views. At the $1 per 1,000 rate a clipping program pays, that is $71,300 of work. Per year, $855,600 of work for $3,600 of agents.

I am not claiming the views are revenue. Views are views. I am claiming the work that produced them used to cost an office and now costs a subscription, and the office is what I am not paying for.

The order that actually works

Do not start with the schedule. Every setup that survived was built in the same order:

  1. Cut one clip by hand. Caption it yourself. Post it. Watch what it does.
  2. Show that clip to HOOK and TIMING and tell them why you cut it there and captioned it that way.
  3. Run the chain on one stream, once, while you watch, and tap the card yourself.
  4. Run it for three nights on three streams with the fence from Step 6.
  5. Then, and only then, put it on the night shift and add the bench.

Skipping to Step 7 on the first evening is how you wake up to forty posted clips with the wrong caption. Prove it once, fence it, then let it run.

You stop being the office

Every clip account until now was a room full of people watching a stream so that one of them could press a button at the right second. GROKCUT moved the room. The agents have the chats, the buffer, the caption rule, and the night. I have the tap.

It is a smaller change in technology than it sounds and a much bigger change in what the job is. The skill is no longer how fast you can cut. It is what exactly you delegated, where its authority ends, and whether you counted the week.

Tonight: write the WATCH charter from Step 2, put three streams on the list, and let it read chat for one night. In the morning it will tell you when the moments happened. That is the whole first evening, and it costs nothing.

Next: the night log. I leave the studio running for seven nights and publish exactly what was waiting on my phone every morning, spike by spike, including the ones I did not tap.
