TL;DR

This article outlines a practical workflow for using AI to streamline Instagram growth, focusing on scriptwriting prompts and tool integration to reduce daily work to one hour.

"AI for full automation, earn while you sleep."

Many people are attracted to such words without understanding the essence.

The idea that you can mass-produce posts with AI and grow easily is half-lie and half-truth. I will teach you the specific method to turn a 5-6 hour posting task into 1 hour a day to grow.

And I want you to know that growing Instagram easily with just AI is nearly impossible at this point. What does that mean? Let me explain.

The "AI Bubble" is Already Ending

Until recently, there was a period where you could quickly increase followers with AI-generated videos and automated posting.

This was the so-called AI bubble.

But now, the situation has changed for two reasons.

First, the audience's eyes have become more sophisticated.

Unnatural videos made by AI are spotted by viewers in an instant. Or rather, the probability of being viewed with suspicion has increased. On X, quotes saying "Isn't this AI?" often go viral. People are skeptical not just of AI-made content but of information in general. Once spotted, they skip. When that happens, watch time drops and the post doesn't grow.

Second is tightening by the platforms.

It's fresh in our memory that YouTube Shorts, which led in AI creatives, introduced restrictions on revenue and visibility for mass-produced AI content. You should assume the same trend is definitely coming to Instagram and TikTok. In other words, relying solely on AI for posting is starting to carry risks. SNS platforms are ruthless; once the rules change, an account can be ruined in one stroke.

AI is an "Assistant," Not a "Magic Box"

So, is AI useless for Instagram management? Of course not. In fact, you absolutely should use it. What matters is the division of roles.

Think of AI as a highly capable new assistant. It's incredibly fast at research and preparation. But in the end, you are the one who decides the direction.

Broken down by process, it looks like this:

あお@株式会社Levela on X — cover

▼ Research and Analysis

AI is good at extracting data from high-performing posts and verbalizing commonalities in viral content. However, the initial selection of which accounts to look at should be decided by a human.

▼ Planning and Scripting

AI is suited for creating structure drafts and generating many hook ideas for the first 2-3 seconds. Adding a tone characteristic of the creator is your job.

▼ Shooting and Editing

Shooting is a human's true domain. Facial expressions, pauses in voice, and that realism are things AI cannot replace. While it's possible to make very realistic things now, humans are like animals with a high ability to distinguish the real thing. AI is better for time-saving in minor editing tasks like subtitle assistance, cutting, and caption creation.

People Who Stop at "Make a Viral Script" Won't Grow

This is the biggest stumbling block. "Make a viral script for a recipe." Many people just throw this one sentence and stop. Don't believe too much in the delusion that "it comes out immediately if you just instruct it."

Basically, current AI does not perfectly grasp real-time trends. If you throw a vague prompt, you'll only get a script that sounds plausible but is shallow. Many have likely experienced this while trying to take the easy way out. In my experience, people who don't grow have common habits:

  • Copy-pasting AI output as is
  • Seeking perfection in one go and finding it tedious to be asked questions
  • Leaving "who to deliver to" entirely to the AI
  • Not checking the market with their own eyes
  • Making "using AI" the goal itself

Conversely, those who grow treat AI as a "capable but needs-instruction newcomer." Those who don't grow misunderstand AI as a "magic box" and stop thinking there.

Steps for Reel Scriptwriting Used by Successful People

By following this order, even someone spending 5-6 hours per post can reduce it to 20 minutes to 2 hours while improving quality (excluding shooting time). Once you get used to it, it's possible to build up with just 1 hour of work a day.

STEP 1: "Loading" Competitor Data (Training the AI's Mind)

Don't say "write a script" immediately. Transcribe 3-5 high-performing competitor posts and give them to the AI as text.

[Prompt Example]

"The following are transcriptions of 3 videos currently going viral in the [Genre] category. You don't need to make a script yet. Please break down the commonalities of why these are growing, the flow of the structure, and the hook techniques at the beginning from a professional marketer's perspective and tell me in bullet points."

STEP 2: Setting "Prerequisites" for Target and Tone

Once the AI provides the analysis, next, give it your "creator profile" and "target."

[Prompt Example]

"Thanks for the analysis. Next, the target I want to reach is 'moms in their 30s who have no time due to work and childcare.' The tone should be 'empathetic but providing sharp solutions.' Based on these premises, please provide 5 patterns of [2-3 second hook expressions] that would make the target stop scrolling."

STEP 3: Let the AI "Ask Questions"

This is the biggest trick. Instead of letting the AI write arbitrarily, make the AI ask you questions.

[Prompt Example]

"Now, using this hook, I want to create a script for 'time-saving techniques even for busy moms.' To create the best script, please ask me 3 questions regarding things you want to confirm with me (the creator) or necessary real-life experiences/episodes."

Now the AI will ask things like "What kind of failure stories do you have?" or "Specifically how many minutes did you save?" By answering these, your unique "primary information (real experience)" is incorporated into the script.

STEP 4: Final Adjustment by Human (Fine-tuning the Tone)

Perform the final touch-up on the script draft produced by the AI.

  • Break down stiff words or "AI-smelling" phrases that don't fit your voice.
  • Decide on cuts while considering facial expressions and pauses during shooting.

Leave the preparation and skeleton to the AI, and put the "passion" and "humanity" in yourself. This is the correct way to create viral scripts.

Instagram Management Methods That Actually Grew Using AI

1. Planning & Research → Using Manus

Instead of just saying "think of an idea," the key is to let the AI understand the context of the account beforehand.

AI Approach: Link and let the AI read your account and competitor data in advance. Then, instruct it to "analyze yesterday's post insights (views, comments, etc.) and verbalize the factors for growth and non-growth."

What AI does: It not only provides objective analysis based on data but also lists many specific next post ideas with catchy titles tailored to the target audience. This completely eliminates the wasted time of aimlessly looking for ideas while scrolling SNS.

2. Scriptwriting → Using Manus / ChatGPT

To get high-quality scripts from AI, there's a trick to giving instructions.

AI Approach: For example, if you just ask to "make a script for a [Recipe/Know-how]," it tends to be mediocre. Therefore, insert a step: "Verbalize the strengths and good points of my account and the competitor accounts you just read. Then, create a script that maximizes those strengths."

What AI does: It composes a highly accurate script (at a level ready for shooting) in just 5 minutes, capturing the account's character, past hit trends, and the target's real concerns.

3. Video Editing → CapCut's AI Features

Automate the most time-consuming parts of video editing: "cutting silent parts" and "adding captions."

How to use AI: Simply load the filmed video and press the "Auto Captions" and "Auto Cut" buttons in the app.

What AI does: It detects silent intervals and finishes detailed cuts in an instant. Furthermore, it performs accurate transcription via voice recognition and places captions according to the video timing. You only need to manually adjust typos or font/color designs, drastically shortening the work.

4. Stories Creation (Using ChatGPT, etc.)

Stories, which are important for building a fan base, can also be mass-produced with AI.

AI Approach: Throw the script text of the Reel you're about to post, or the images/screenshots you want to use, into an AI like ChatGPT.

What AI does: By instructing it to "rewrite this into a multi-slide structure for Stories," it can automatically create story scripts with developments that make viewers want to tap, text for overlays, and even the layout configuration (design instructions).

5. Caption Creation → Using Manus

Captions, which often take up unexpected time, can be completely outsourced.

AI Approach: Let the AI read the finished Reel video (or finalized script) and instruct it to "create the best Instagram caption (including hashtags) for this video."

What AI does: It appropriately summarizes the video content and generates a text including an intro to increase save rates, bullet points, and highly relevant hashtags in 1 minute. Just copy and paste.

It's Not the Number of Tools, It's the Skill of the User

Many people worry about losing to competitors who use AI. But the reality is not that you'll be replaced by AI, but by people who can master AI.

AI is just an assistant. It's your job to train that assistant to understand your intentions. You can increase tools as much as you want, but you can only polish your own skills. That's something you can't buy with money. So, before looking for the next tool, ask yourself this: start by learning and practicing one thing, and check how much time efficiency and numbers have improved.
