In 2025, Anthony and I shared a memo to pivot our crypto data business into something bigger, bolder, and frankly…crazier in investing.
We told our team and half of them left. We were terrified.
But raising the scale of our ambition to democratize investing for all requires balls.
Here is that internal memo.
Investing For All.
Today, we’re pivoting from crypto data to building AI analysts for all.
As part of that, we're now covering ALL datasets that matter for investing -- blockchain, equities, and alternative data.
When Anthony and I started Artemis in 2022, we wanted to make crypto investing accessible to everyone.
This was inspired by wanting to serve people like my Yeh Yeh (grandfather), who worked 2 jobs, had to raise a family of 8, but invested in HK stocks in the 1970s and made just enough to send my dad off to college in the U.S. This was inspired by Anthony’s desire to help people like his father who tried to break into Wall Street in the 1970s and inspired Anthony’s love for investing.
We wanted crypto tokens to be more transparent and accessible so people like our Yeh Yeh and dad could make money in crypto in the 2020s.
However in 2026, that vision is too narrow. The same liquid token funds we serve are now primarily invested in crypto equities, fintech and AI stocks.
Our new mission: make investing accessible to all and allow anyone to harness the power of LLMs to make money in ALL assets — equities, tokens, private markets.
The thesis was always for Artemis to build the operating system for investing and build the #1 investment platform in the world: the place where investors figure out what to invest in and why.
Our strategy was always to 1) build proprietary data around stablecoins, prediction markets, financial and qualitative signals that moves markets 2) create the investing network that connects retail investors, institutions, and public / private companies in a single place, where people can pitch each other their investment theses.

The problem
Investing is overwhelming in 2026. There are X posts, podcasts, Reddit posts in /wallstreetbets, earnings, financials, 13Fs, sell-side research firms price targets, etc.
Investors are turning to independent analysts like @citrini, @SemiAnalysis_, @amittheinvestor, @Dr_Crossroads, and @artemis to cut through the noise and build conviction.
In a world of AI, hedge funds and retail are building out skills on Claude and hacking together Hermes Agents and OpenClaw but are fed noise not signal. Also it's expensive to buy all the datasets and cobble them together via connectors -- and the fear is Claude / Chat hallucinates with just web search.
THE TRUTH IS, NOBODY HAS FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE AI FOR INVESTING.
Until today.
Artemis Analyst
We spent the last few months building the investing harness of my dreams.
We had to as part of our work publishing investment theses on Robinhood, Hyperliquid, Coinbase, Circle, Figure and more.
