The $LNRA Community Round has always been about putting as much $LNRA into interested community and new traders hands, in the most favorable way possible.
Combined with already-announced Season 1 Commitment Credits (fee-free volume up to 50x per dollar), Genesis rounds out our intention to be the most attractive L1 / consumer app in history.
Here, we outline specifically how to unlock bonus tokens at TGE from the Community Reserve, simply by receiving a Genesis badge and trading on mainnet.
These bonuses put more tokens in your hands for free, helping secure a cost-basis as low as $0.02 / $LNRA (versus $0.16 base) directly by engaging with our core application.
The Community Reserve holds 60% of $LNRA. It exists to move supply to the people who use the protocol. Genesis is the first distribution from it: up to 20% of additional supply allocation, released at TGE to badge holders.
Genesis badges mark the very first ownership layer of Linera
Genesis has three parts.

Overview
- Genesis Badge: secure a Community Round allocation, trade on lineraxyz, depending on your trading volume (see example below), receive up to 3 extra $LNRA for every 1 $LNRA you got allocated
- Genesis Founder Badge: same as Genesis Badge, but if your allocation was in the first 10M $LNRA sold on Sonar, instead receive 7 extra $LNRA for every 1 you got allocated, unlocked on your first trade (no trading volume requirement)
- Season 0: 1% of supply to testnet badge holders, no round or trading requirement
- Season 0 End: Mainnet launch
- Season 1 Begin: Mainnet Launch Targeting Late October / November
- TGE and Distribution: Targeting by end of 2026
Genesis
If you secure a filled allocation from the Community Round and trade on lineraxyz mainnet before TGE, you receive up to 3 $LNRA from the Reserve for every 1 $LNRA in your allocation.
To complete it, simply trade through the value of your allocation. If your allocation was $16,000 (100,000 $LNRA), trade $16,000 of volume on lineraxyz before the TGE snapshot to receive 300,000 more $LNRA. Genesis unlocks as you go: trade half, receive half.
Note that Commitment Credits and multipliers also apply. Every participant holds a fee-free volume of at least their allocation, and most hold many multiples of it under the multipliers published on September 2 (up to 50 dollars of volume for every 1 dollar committed). Genesis Founder
If your allocation sits inside the first 10 millions $LNRA sold in the round, that is, the first 1% of supply, you receive 7 extra $LNRA for every 1 instead of 3 after your first trade on lineraxyz. There is no volume requirement. F
ounder unlocks in full on your first trade on lineraxyz mainnet before TGE. If your allocation straddles the 10M line, the part inside is Founder and the rest is Genesis.
The round is open until September 8 10 AM ET / 2 PM UTC. Founder is decided by position in the fill.
Testnet Season 0 (live)
1% of total supply goes to testnet badge holders at TGE. Wallets are ranked by their lifetime badge history, Diamond claims first, then Platinum, Gold and Base, with lifetime points breaking ties. You do not need to be in the round or to trade. Claims stay open at portal.linera.net until the TGE snapshot, and every claim until then counts.
What this adds up to
At the round cap, Genesis releases up to 20% of supply from the Reserve: up to 7% to Founder, 12% to Genesis, 1% to Season 0. With the 5% sold in the round, the community holds up to 25% of $LNRA at TGE. That is the same share as investors and early contributors combined, and unlike theirs it is not on a vesting schedule.
The Community Round itself does not change. Price, terms and close date are as published. Genesis is a Reserve reward for badge holders, and it is completed in the product.
Genesis unlocks an additional 20% from the Reserve
Why
Supply should reach the people who use the protocol. The people who fund mainnet and trade on it before TGE are the first users, so they receive the first Reserve distribution. The volume you trade to complete Genesis is Season 1 volume: it counts toward badge claims and toward the protocol fees the Reserve is shaped against in future seasons.
Rules
- Genesis: any wallet holding a filled Community Round allocation that trades on lineraxyz before the TGE snapshot. Up to 3 $LNRA per 1 allocated, from the Community Reserve, distributed at TGE, unlocked in proportion to volume traded up to the value of the allocation
- Genesis Founder: allocations inside the first 10M $LNRA sold. 7 $LNRA per 1 allocation, unlocked in full on the first trade
- Testnet Season 0: 1% of supply to testnet badge holders, ranked by lifetime badge history, snapshot and distribution at TGE
- Total Genesis release is capped at 20% of $LNRA supply (25% unlock including 5% sale)
- Accredited US participants' Genesis tokens follow the same twelve-month lock as their allocation and require no app usage
- Jurisdictions eligible for the Community Round but not eligible for mainnet receive badge tokens with no required app usage
- Those ineligible for the Community Round due to regulations/restrictions will have additional opportunities to earn tokens from the Community Reserve through in-app and ecosystem initiatives from the Linera Foundation
In one line
Hold an allocation, trade it once over, and earn four for one from the Reserve. Eight for one if you were in the first 10M sold.
