AI characters took over the feed.
Brand-new accounts. No face. No filming.

I made my own with Higgsfield AI Influencer in 10 minutes.
A weird, unforgettable character. Dropped into a video that was already going viral. Same moves, same camera, new face.
Most people stop at the views.
This guide covers the part nobody explains: how to actually get paid for them.
Every prompt is copy-paste ready.
Save this.
What's actually going on
You've seen these videos (on Insta, TT or here on X)
A bowl-cut man in a tweed suit doing a dance trend. A deadpan woman with giant glasses walking through a viral street interview.
They're not real people.
They're AI characters, and two things make them work:
→ A character you remember instantly : One exaggerated hairstyle. One standout feature. An old-fashioned outfit. A completely deadpan face. You see it once and you'd recognize it anywhere.
→ Real motion from a video that's already proven : You don't invent a format. You take a video that's already doing millions of views and swap the person for your character.
That's it.

The character makes it memorable.
The viral video makes it watchable.
You're not betting on a new idea. You're putting a new face on something people already love.
The full workflow
Here's the whole thing on one screen.

Let's go step by step.
Step 1 : Design a character people can't forget
This is the step that decides everything.
A generic pretty AI face gets scrolled past.
A strange, specific, serious-looking character gets screenshotted.
The formula:
→ One exaggerated hairstyle that reads at thumbnail size. A helmet bowl cut. A blunt bob with a heavy fringe. A horseshoe bald pattern.
→ One standout facial feature. A curled handlebar moustache. Thick glasses that magnify the eyes. A wispy moustache.
→ An old-fashioned outfit, worn with total sincerity. Tweed suits, bow ties, high-waisted trousers, a satchel.
→ A completely deadpan face. They never wink at the camera. The joke is that they take themselves seriously.
→ Dorky, never mean. The humour comes from styling and attitude, never from mocking someone's ethnicity, body, or background.
→ 100% original. Not a lookalike of a real creator or celebrity.
Grab 3–5 reference images from Pinterest or Instagram for the vibe you want.
Drop them into Claude or ChatGPT with this prompt:
1You are my character designer for a series of viral, deadpan-funny2AI influencer characters for TikTok and Instagram. I generate the3images myself in Higgsfield AI Influencer, so your job is to design4the characters and write the prompts.56THE STYLE — every character has:7- One exaggerated signature hairstyle that reads at thumbnail size8- One standout facial feature (moustache, glasses, nose, freckles)9- An old-fashioned, earnest outfit worn with total sincerity10- A completely deadpan expression. Never winking at the camera.11- Dorky and quirky, never mean. No jokes about ethnicity, body,12 or background.13- An original person. Never a recreation of a real creator or celebrity.1415HOW TO WORK WITH ME161. Ask me 2-3 quick questions (vibe, age, any feature I want).17 If I say "surprise me", pitch 3 concepts straight away.182. Each concept: a name, a one-line vibe (e.g. "a 1974 substitute19 geography teacher who thinks he's the most elegant man in Europe"),20 hair, face, outfit, one signature prop, and one running bit21 for videos.223. When I pick one, write the full-body image prompt (format below).234. When I upload an image and ask for a change, write an EDIT prompt24 that keeps everything identical except that one change.25 Never rewrite from scratch, so I don't lose the face.265. When I'm happy, write the character sheet prompt.276. Always give a matching negative prompt that stops the model28 drifting from the key features.297. Keep replies short. Ask me your first questions.
It'll pitch you 3 characters.
Pick the one that made you laugh first. That's usually the right one.
Step 2 : Generate your character

Here's mine
Fill in the brackets:
1Ultra-photorealistic full-body studio portrait of a [BUILD: tall and2gangly / short and stocky / very skinny] [man/woman] in their [AGE],3standing [POSTURE: stiffly upright / slightly slouched / awkwardly],4arms [ARM POSITION], facing the camera. Plain seamless light-grey5studio backdrop, evenly lit, soft natural shadow on the floor.67Hair: [ONE EXAGGERATED HAIRSTYLE: helmet-like bowl cut / blunt bob8with heavy fringe / horseshoe bald pattern], [COLOUR], immaculate9and slightly too precise.1011Face: [FACIAL HAIR: pencil moustache / curled handlebar / wispy12moustache]; [GLASSES: round gold wire-rimmed / thin rectangular13black / thick lenses that magnify the eyes]; [FEATURES: long narrow14face, prominent nose, freckles]; completely deadpan, [EXPRESSION:15lips pursed in a serious pout / small smug closed-lip smile],16staring straight into the lens.1718Outfit: [OLD-FASHIONED OUTFIT: brown houndstooth three-piece suit19with high-waisted wide trousers], [SHIRT], [TIE OR BOW TIE],20[SHOES], [ONE PROP: worn leather satchel / pocket protector full21of pens].2223Photography: full-frame camera, 85mm lens at f/8, eye-level, full24body head to toe with space around them. Soft diffused key light25from front left, gentle fill, subtle rim light. Natural skin texture26with visible pores, individual hair strands, fine fabric texture,27realistic creases, reflections on glasses and shoes. Sharp focus,288K, editorial fashion photography.
Paste it into Higgsfield AI Influencer and generate.
Not quite right? Don't regenerate from scratch. You'll lose the face.
Upload the image back to Claude and ask for an edit prompt:
1Keep this exact person identical — same face, skin, hair, glasses,2facial hair, body shape, outfit, pose, lighting and background.3Change only this: [ONE CHANGE, e.g. "make the moustache curl4upward at the ends" / "make the suit mustard yellow"].
One change at a time.
Push it until the character looks a little too specific. That's when it stands out.
Step 3 : Make the character sheet

This is the step most people skip.
And it's why their character looks different in every video.
A character sheet shows your character from every angle in one image. Genjutsu uses it to keep the face and body the same every time.
Ask Claude to write a sheet prompt for your character using this format:
1Create a professional character reference sheet of the exact same2person from the reference image. Keep the face, skin, body shape,3hair, glasses, facial hair and outfit identical in every panel.4Ultra-photorealistic studio photography, plain seamless light-grey5background in every panel, consistent soft diffused lighting.67LAYOUT: two rows on one wide image.89Top row — five full-body panels, head to toe, same scale, relaxed10standing pose, arms by their sides:111. Front view122. Three-quarter front view133. Side profile144. Three-quarter back view155. Back view1617Bottom row — three large close-ups from the chest up:186. Front headshot, eyes closed, small serene smug smile197. Three-quarter headshot, eyes half-open, same smug smile208. Front headshot, eyes open, staring into the lens, totally deadpan2122CHARACTER (must match exactly in every panel):23[Paste your character's full description: build, age, skin, hair,24face, glasses, facial hair, every piece of the outfit, prop.]2526QUALITY: full-frame camera, 85mm lens, sharp focus in every panel,27natural skin texture with visible pores, individual hair strands,28realistic fabric texture, realistic reflections on glasses and shoes.29Consistent colours across all panels. Thin white dividing lines30between panels. No text, no labels.
In a hurry? The quick 3-panel version works too:
1Create a realistic character sheet of this person using 3 panels2against a plain studio background: full-body front view, full-body3back view, and a close-up of the face. Keep every detail identical4across all three panels.
Attach your character image with it.
Now you have a character you can drop into any video.
Step 4 : Find a video that's already viral
This is the only "creative" part of the job.
Scroll. Spot what's blowing up. Ask yourself one question:
Would this be funnier with my character in it?
What to look for:
→ Under 30 seconds (the Genjutsu clip limit)
→ One clear person on screen, not a crowd
→ Big, readable motion : a dance, a walk, a reaction, a confident strut
→ A format people already recognize : a trend, a sound, a meme
→ A contrast with your character : a serious man in a tweed suit doing a club dance is the whole joke
Keep a running list. New viral videos show up every day, so you never run out.
Save the ones that fit.
Step 5 : Swap the person with Higgsfield Genjutsu

This is the step that makes it all work
Genjutsu takes the motion from a real video and puts your character into it. Same moves, same camera, same lighting.
Open Higgsfield Genjutsu:
→ Upload the viral video as the motion reference
→ Upload your character sheet below it
→ Paste this prompt:
1Replace the person in @video1 with the character from @image1.2Use @image1 for the character only. Keep the same motion, camera3movement, framing, lighting, color grading, and overall video4quality as the original. Make sure the color grading matches5the original video.
Hit generate.
If the face drifts, use the full 8-panel sheet instead of the 3-panel one. More angles = more consistency.
Step 6 : Finish and post
Download the video.
Open CapCut or directly Insta/TT:
→ Add the original audio or the trending sound back on
→ Add one line of on-screen text if the joke needs it
→ Export 9:16, 1080p
Post to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Same video, three platforms, three chances to go viral.
Turn on the AI-generated label on every platform. TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube all ask for it on realistic AI content. Accounts that skip it get their reach cut, or get banned. The label doesn't hurt the joke. The audience is there for the character, not to be fooled.
Step 7 : Actually make money from it
Here's the truth most posts skip.
Views alone don't pay you. A viral account with nothing attached to it is a hobby.
The money comes from what you attach to the views.
Here are 5 ways, in the order I'd add them.
1. Higgsfield Earn : get paid for views, from day one
This is the newest one, and most people haven't noticed it yet.
Higgsfield pays creators $1 for every 1,000 views on videos made with a character from Higgsfield AI Influencer.
No product. No funnel. No followers needed.
Make the video → post it → submit it in the Earn section → get paid on the views.
The math is simple:
100K views → $100 1M views → $1,000 10M views → $10,000
One character. One video a day. Three platforms.
You don't need every video to hit. You need one in ten to.
2. Promote your own product or app
This is the biggest one if you already sell something.
Your character becomes the face of your brand. It recommends your product the way a friend gives a tip, not the way an ad pitches.
A deadpan accountant character "reviewing" your budgeting app. A museum-guide character touring your online store like it's the Louvre.
Free attention for your product, every single day.
3. Affiliate offers
Pick an offer that fits your character's world.
Link it from your bio through a simple bridge page: one short page that explains the offer and sends people to it.
The character mentions it inside the content, in character, like a tip.
You get paid per signup or sale.
4. Digital products
Once people follow the character, sell them something small.
A guide. A template pack. Presets. A how-I-make-these course.
Link in bio. Mention it every few days.
5. Brand deals
A recognizable character is a media asset.
Once your account has steady views, brands will pay to put their product in your character's hands. You don't need to look good on camera or have a big personality. The character does both.
Step 8 : Scale it
Once one video works, don't change everything.
Repeat it.
→ Find your winner. Any video that clears 100K views is a format. Make 3 more like it this week.
→ Post daily. One video a day per character. Each one is a new lottery ticket.
→ Cross-post everything. TikTok, Reels, Shorts. Same video, three times the reach.
→ Add a second character. Different look, different vibe, different audience. Run them on separate accounts.
→ Keep the character consistent. Same sheet every time. Recognition is the whole game.
The first character teaches you what works.
The second one actually goes faster.
Rules that keep your account alive
Skip these and the account dies before it gets paid.
→ Label it as AI. Every platform asks. Do it every time.
→ Original characters only. Never a lookalike of a real person, creator, or celebrity.
→ Make it funnier than the original. Your character should add a joke, not just replace someone. Swapping a face onto someone's video and adding nothing is how you get reported.
→ Skip videos of kids or private people. Use public trends and formats, not someone's personal moment.
→ Dorky, never mean. The joke is the character's seriousness, not anyone's identity.
