Exodus Froze My 0.25 BTC — No Refund Since 2023

This is not a warning. This is reality.

I lost 0.25 BTC using Exodus.

Not because of a mistake.

Not because of a hack.

But because of how their system is designed.

What happened

I used Exodus to perform a simple exchange inside the wallet.

Instead of processing it directly, Exodus routed my transaction to a third-party provider — **n.exchange**.

Shortly after, my funds were:

That was in 2023.

They are still “checking”.

Proof: Exodus denies responsibility

Here is what Exodus support told me:

• They do not conduct exchanges themselves
• All swaps are handled by third-party API providers

• I must resolve everything with the external exchange

2. You use their built-in exchange

4. They freeze funds under AML/KYC
