Today we're introducing Team Bots, and it's likely the biggest change to Grok Bot since launch. I wanted to share a bit about why we built it and how these new digital colleages might change the way your team works.
Since we launched Grok Bot, I've been surprised by just how useful it has been as an amplifier for individual creativity. Every day we hear from small business owners operating more profitably, entrepreneurs building massive businesses with their bots, or even just reducing the mental load of day-to-day operations to focus on bigger goals.
But there's been one problem that Grok Bot hasn't been able to solve well, that Team Bots are designed for.
Grok Bot is now Multiplayer
A few weeks back we launched Grok Bot for Enterprise. We've seen Grok Bot accelerate some of the largest companies in the world.
But until today, Grok Bot has largely been a single player experience. Grok Bot is your own team, your own bots, learning the way that you work.
This is great for the solo operator, but building great products and companies so often is a team sport.
We've felt these limits of Grok Bot ourselves. Everyone at SpaceXAI has their own teams of agents...often a bot will provide some important insight or need someone else's expertise to complete its work.
That's why we built Team Bots.

Team Bots are bots your whole team shares, like a digital colleague. You can interact with them just like your teammates. You can Team Bots in slack. They have global and user-scoped memory, so you can teach it things and it will get better for everyone else!

We've found ourselves turning to internal experts to define these Team Bots. It's a new way to distribute best practices and increase access to previously limited resources in a company. For example: our data science team built Databot, which knows everything about our data lake, best data sets, how the team likes to visualize data, how to frame data questions. Everyone can now talk to Databot, so they spend less time on one-off questions and more on strategic research.
Team Bots are digital colleagues you add to your team, and interact with everywhere you work. They learn things on the job, learn how you and your team work, and can collaborate with humans and bots alike.

What Team Bots are we using?
Here are the top team bots we've found most useful
- Databot: our data science team has built Databot, which understands our data set
- 10x Engineer: built by @poteto, everyone on the team can now work with a cracked pstack engineer
- Marketing: all launches and marketing go through a digital @leerob review, to keep our messaging and brand voice consistent
- Sales Assistant: every SDR and AE has a sales assistant, capable of navigating Salesforce, using prospecting tools, and understanding how to source and qualify leads
These are just a few of the team bots we've found useful, excited to see what digital colleagues you'll build!
