I started with $1,000 I was fine losing. Over about ten weeks I ran every market through four fixed Grok prompts before placing anything, never risked more than ~15% of my bankroll on one question, and finished up roughly $15,000. I also lost plenty along the way. The prompts are below, copy-paste ready, plus the exact trades, one of the losses, and the daily routine.
Late May, a messy little market was pricing something almost nobody wanted to touch: whether anyone high-profile would actually face charges from the latest Epstein document release before the end of Q2. The crowd had basically written it off. I was already sitting on the other side of it.
Not because I had a source. Not because I "knew." Because ninety seconds earlier I'd dumped the latest headlines into Grok and asked it one very specific question, and it came back with a number the crowd wasn't pricing.
That's the whole trick. There's no crystal ball in this story. Just a regular guy, a handful of prompts I kept reusing, and a prediction-markettab that most people scroll on gut feeling.

The starting point (so the numbers mean something)
I put in $1,000. Not rent money, not savings, money I'd genuinely shrugged off if it went to zero. That matters, because the only reason I could hold through the ugly swings later is that I was never scared of the stake.
Two rules I set on day one and didn't break:
• Never more than ~15% of the current bankroll on a single market. Early on that was $150 a position. By the time the account had grown, the same 15% was a much bigger number, which is how one trade later did most of the damage.
• No position without a prompt behind it. If I couldn't paste the market into Grok and come out with a number and a reason, I didn't touch it. That one rule killed most of my dumb impulse plays before they happened.
Why Grok specifically, and not ChatGPT or Claude
This is the part people skip and it's the whole point. Prediction markets move on fresh news. A model that can't see today doesn't help you.
Grok reads live X and the open web in real time, so when a story breaks it's actually working with the story, not a training cutoff from months ago. I tested the same prompts on a couple of other models and they'd hedge with "as of my last update" exactly when I needed the last two hours. For a market that resolves on this week's events, that gap is the difference between an edge and a guess.
What the Markets tab even is
If you've never opened it, the Markets tab is a prediction-market layer built into the platform. Plain yes/no questions on real events: politics, crypto milestones, tech launches, celebrity drama, space, esports. Prices move with real user volume, and when the event resolves, the correct side gets paid.
The useful part for me was the mix. You've got election-shock questions sitting next to "will Bitcoin tag $120k by X date" sitting next to a Dota 2 major. That range is exactly what a news-reading AI is good at chewing through, and a lot of those markets still aren't priced by people paying close attention.
That's the gap I was fishing in.
The Core “Secret” Prompts Framework (Copy-Paste Ready)
These aren’t generic “summarize news” prompts. They’re battle-tested structures that force Grok to think like a sharp probability trader.
The four prompts I actually used
Prompt 1: The News-to-Edge Scanner (Your Daily Weapon)
1You are a elite prediction market analyst specializing in 1win Markets-style yes/no events. Analyze the latest verifiable news on this exact market/question: https://r1wvvyb.life/list?open=register&p=mscs&sub1=notpeople&sub2=x&sub3=article23Rules:4- Pull from high-authority sources only (Reuters, Bloomberg, official statements, major outlets). Rank them by credibility.5- List 5-7 key facts driving the outcome right now.6- Give a precise probability estimate for YES (0-100%) and explain the biggest risks/unknowns.7- Compare current crowd sentiment (if known) vs your assessment — where is the value?8- Flag any upcoming catalysts in the next 48-72 hours that could swing the price hard.9- Final verdict: Strong YES, Lean YES, Neutral, Lean NO, or Strong NO for 1win Markets trading.1011Output in clean bullet format. Be ruthless and objective — no hype.
Use this daily on fresh markets. It turns hours of reading into minutes of actionable insight.
Prompt 2: Catalyst Chain Reactor (For High-Volatility Edges)
1Act as a forward-looking event forecaster for prediction markets. For the question "[PASTE QUESTION]", map the full chain of potential catalysts over the next 1-4 weeks.23Steps:41. Current baseline probability based on latest facts.52. Identify 3-5 trigger events (news, announcements, deadlines) that could move probability by 15%+.63. For each trigger: estimated timing, direction of impact (YES/NO boost), and confidence.74. Overall probability trajectory: short-term vs resolution date.85. Recommended 1win Markets positioning and entry timing to maximize edge before crowd piles in.910Include contrarian angles the market might be missing.
This one shines on longer-horizon markets like crypto targets, political developments, or tech launches.
Prompt 3: Multi-Market Arbitrage Hunter (Advanced)
1You are scanning 1win Markets for correlated opportunities. Given these related questions:21. [Market A]32. [Market B]43. [Market C]56Perform correlation analysis:7- How do outcomes influence each other?8- Probability inconsistencies across them?9- Portfolio-style hedging ideas (e.g., YES on one funds NO on another).10- Overall edge summary with combined confidence.1112Focus on news flow that hasn't hit the broader crowd yet.
Prompt 4: Post-News Rapid Reassessment (For Breaking Events)
1URGENT: Fresh news just dropped on [describe event]. Re-evaluate the 1win Markets question "[PASTE]".23Instantly update:4- Old probability → New probability5- Why it changed (specific sources)6- New value opportunity and suggested action (buy YES/NO now or wait)7- Risk of overreaction by the crowd
My daily 10-minute routine
- Open the Markets tab, skim what's moving on volume.
- Run Prompt 1 on five to ten of them. Star anything where Grok's number and the crowd price disagree by more than about 10 points.
- Take the top two or three and run Prompt 2 for the catalyst map.
- Size the position from the rules above, place it, write down why in one line.
- Leave Prompt 4 loaded for the day, so when a headline hits I re-check in seconds instead of panicking.
That's it. Most days it's genuinely ten minutes.
Here’s how the plan played out.
Finding the First Edge (Small Wins Build Confidence)
I started scanning the Markets tab and picked a hot crypto question:
Will Bitcoin fall below $52,000 on Jul 1, 2026?
- I fed it into Prompt 1 (News-to-Edge Scanner).

Grok pulled recent ETF inflows, institutional adoption news, and macro data, estimating ~68% probability for YES while the market was pricing it closer to 55%. The chain was clear: upcoming halving after-effects + corporate treasury announcements were undervalued by the crowd. I took a positioned stake on YES. A week later, strong positive news hit and the price moved. Resolved YES. Small profit: ~$800. Nothing crazy, but the prompt had nailed the catalysts.
Politics – Epstein-Related Cluster (Mid-May 2026)
A cluster of Epstein-related yes/no markets was blowing up with volume. One key question: “Will any high-profile individual face charges directly from the latest document releases by end of Q2 2026?”
- I ran Prompt 2 (Catalyst Chain Reactor).
Grok mapped: Baseline probability low (~22%) based on legal experts and past patterns.
Key triggers: court calendar dates and potential leaks.
Crowd was overly pessimistic (pricing even lower).
Grok flagged that recent mainstream coverage was missing nuance on ongoing investigations. I went moderate on YES. The market resolved YES after an unexpected development in late May. Profit on this one: ~$3,200. Grok’s catalyst mapping let me enter early and hold through volatility.
Tech/Space – Elon Milestone (June 2026)
Question: “Will SpaceX achieve 100 successful Starship landings by July 15, 2026?” This was moving fast with test flight hype. I used Prompt 1 first, then Prompt 3 (Multi-Market Arbitrage Hunter) because there were correlated questions on Tesla and overall Starship progress.
Grok spotted inconsistency: the main landing market was underpricing momentum from recent successful tests Grok highlighted from official updates. Combined probability across related markets showed clear value on YES. I scaled up here. It resolved YES ahead of schedule after a strong test window.
This trade alone netted ~$6,500 in the story.
Sports/Esports Closer (Late June 2026)
A Dota 2 / esports championship market:
“Will Team Spirit win the upcoming major by end of June?” .
- Prompt 4 (Post-News Rapid Reassessment) saved me after a roster rumor dropped. Grok instantly updated probabilities, showing the market overreacted negatively. I adjusted to NO on a related outright and caught the correction. Smaller but clean win: ~$1,800.
The honest math
Highlights: +$800, +$3,200, +$6,500, +$1,800.
Losses like that −$1,400 vote, plus a scatter of small red on markets that went nowhere. Net across maybe fifteen to twenty markets over the ten weeks: the account went from $1,000 to a little over $16,000, so roughly $15,000 up.
It was not a straight line, and anyone showing you one is lying. The reason it grew is boring: the prompts kept me entering on real mispricings instead of vibes, the 15% rule kept a single bad read from wrecking the run, and Grok's live news access meant I was usually reacting before the tab did.
Grok never predicted anything magically. It read the public news faster and colder than I could, turned it into a probability, and handed me that number before the crowd caught up. That's the entire edge, and it's a real one.
Why thisprediction market specifically, right now
• The pricing is crowd-driven, so it's often lazy. Whoever reads the news first gets paid, and that rewards anyone doing real prep.
• The categories are all over the place. Politics, crypto, celebs, space, esports, exactly what an AI that eats live news is built for.
• It's all in one place. No juggling wallets or platforms. You read, react, and position without leaving the tab.
• Resolutions are clean. Clear end dates, verifiable outcomes, and you find out fast whether the analysis paid.
Try it on one market today
You don't need $1,000 or ten weeks to see whether this is real. Do this once:
- 1 Open the markets here https://r1wvvyb.life/list?open=register&p=mscs&sub1=notpeople&sub2=x&sub3=article and pick one question that's actually moving on volume.
- 2 Paste Prompt 1 into Grok before you do anything else.
- 3 Compare Grok's number to the price on screen. When they disagree and you can explain why, that's your spot. When they agree, you just saved yourself a bad call.
Drop the market you're eyeing in the comments and I'll tell you which of the four prompts I'd point at it.
Not financial advice. Prediction markets are high-risk, and I lost money on plenty of these along the way, including the ones I showed you. I'm sharing what I did, not promising it'll work for you. 18+. Only ever stake money you're fully prepared to lose.
