TL;DR: A practical playbook for building wealth in the AI era. How to think about money, start a \realistic\ business, and compound wealth to take advantage of the AI gold rush.
This is the exact playbook I've used to scale my net worth to 8-figs+ over the past few years, and the strategies I'm using to \hopefully\ hit 9-figs+ by 2030.
The honest truth is that most people are trying to get rich the wrong way. And it's a shame, because this is one of the biggest wealth-creation events we've had in a long time. You don't want to fumble this.
In today's piece, I'm going to guide you through the complete framework that I've actually used (and will continue to use) to create wealth in the new AI era. No BS, no theory, and no holding back.

l: How to Think About Money in the AI Era
Before we dive into the fun stuff, I want to quickly share my general framework for how I'm thinking about money in the AI era.
Active income is everything.
Building true wealth starts with how much money you can actively collect each week/month/year, and then reinvest back into various asymmetric vehicles, such as financial markets or new business ventures.
For 99% of people, your goal should be simple: cash flow.
a.ka. how much money you're bringing in.
The good news is that AI is excellent for starting cash-flow businesses - in a later section, we'll dive into specific bizz models.
Common mistake: I see far too many people trying to "invest" (gamble) with zero income - this is a recipe for disaster.
Don't be the guy chasing pumps and full-porting all your cash when you really can't afford to be taking those bets in the first place. Instead, shift your time and focus to building valuable skills and producing income.
Once you make money, the doors of opportunity fully open (new networks, new businesses, etc.).
TL;DR: I'm using AI businesses to create cash flow, then investing in financial markets and other vehicles to compound.

ll: Art of Compounding
I did the math on this because I think most people underestimate just how big the gap gets between "investing alone" and "investing plus income".
(This stresses my original point about the importance of cash flow)
The setup:
Both people in my example start with $100,000, and both compound at 10%.
Person A does nothing except let that $100k compound.
Person B does one extra thing: they use AI to build a modest income stream at $10,000 a month, reinvested straight back into the same market at the same 10% - on top of the same starting $100k.
What that difference actually looks like:
Year 1: Person A has $110k. Person B has $236k.
Year 5: Person A has $165k. Person B is closing in on $950k.
Year 10: Person A has $271k. Person B has $2.32 million.
Year 20: Person A has $733k. Person B has $8.33 million.

Tip: If you can extend the time horizon in which you build wealth, you'll become much richer.
Start thinking: "How can I build wealth over the next decade? How can my actions today reflect that long-term goal?"
Don't get wrapped up in quick-money schemes that will burn you and leave you with nothing compounded.
I also think it's very important to make as much money as you can in your 20s-30s so the compounding growth curve can skew aggressively in your favour later in life.
lll: Earning Money with AI
Now that you understand the importance of cash flow, let's talk about how to actually print cash with AI so you can compound.
This section is a distillation of my regular conversations with AI CEOs, founders, and successful friends, along with my anecdotal experience with the AI business models I know are working right now.
Before just "making money with AI", you need to establish if you're going to:
A) Start a new income stream
B) Streamline/optimise an existing skillset/business
Both are legitimate, but which one is right for you depends on where you're starting from.
For example, if you're already an agency owner making money online, it may be better ROI for you to just use AI to optimise your existing business to unlock more revenue.
Compared to someone who's just starting out and hasn't made a single dollar online, that person might be better off starting something new.

Let's run through each of the business models for both paths:
Starting a new income stream (3 bizz models)
- Consulting: You go to an existing business and help them implement AI
Think: build them a business operating system, custom workflows, agents, skills, etc.
You can charge a monthly retainer and run regular check-ins to keep things ongoing.
This is how a chunk of my own income works right now. I've never marketed my AI consulting business, but we're primarily growing through referrals.
Two things you actually need to be successful here:
First, you need to know more than the business you're charging for (obvious).
Second, you need a way to actually reach clients, which is distribution.
Personal brand, ads, cold outreach, even just doing free work for a local business and turning the result into a testimonial.
- AI digital products: You build and ship courses, custom media, copy, etc.
This is an interesting one if you have a preexisting skill set.
You still need product-market fit, distribution, and some actual taste in what you're building. But the barrier that once kept one person from shipping a real product is mostly gone.
AI can handle landing pages, pricing, offers, funnels, etc.
btw, consulting and digital products aren't mutually exclusive either.
A common combination: consult a business into an initial implementation, then hand them an ongoing SaaS product they pay a recurring fee for.
- Personal brand
If I had to point to the single fastest path to everything else on this list, it's this one.
I went from posting about random crypto trades in my bedroom to running consulting for some of the biggest companies on the planet.
Different platforms do different jobs.
𝕏 = networking platform
Instagram = best for top-of-funnel retail reach.
YouTube = conversion/loyalty.
Building a brand takes real time.
My advice: document what you're already doing publicly and slowly learn hooks, content, and algorithms.

Streamlining an existing income stream
Not everyone wants to start something new, and if you already run or work in a business you like, the move may be to optimise it with AI rather than replace it.
This was actually my own first move, before I offered consulting, info, etc.
We conducted a full company audit, optimising our BD outreach, CRM, contact pipeline, content strategy, and more, enabling us to make significantly more money.
If you're going to go this route, it may be worth hiring someone to make these implementations for you, or if you are a solo operator (like a copywriter/designer), you can run this prompt in Claude to get some ideas on how you can optimise things with AI:
1If you're going to go this route, it may be worth hiring someone to2make these implementations for you.34Or, if you're a solo operator - a copywriter, a designer, anyone5running their own service business - you can run this prompt in6Claude to get some ideas on how you can optimise with AI:78OPTIMISATION AUDIT PROMPT910"I run a [type of business/role]. My day-to-day involves11[describe your main recurring tasks].1213Interview me about my actual workflow - what I do daily, weekly, and14monthly, the tools I currently use, and where the most time-15consuming or repetitive parts are.1617Then identify:18- Which parts of my workflow could be fully automated19- Which parts could be significantly sped up with AI, even if I20still need to review the output21- Which parts should stay entirely manual, and why2223For each opportunity, tell me roughly how much time it could save24me per week, and what it would actually take to set up - a skill,25an automation, a new tool, or a connector.2627Rank the opportunities by time saved versus effort to set up, and28tell me which one I should build first."
Last thing:
Action creates clarity.
Don't get stuck trying to pick the "correct" model ahead of time.
Consulting only became part of my business because people kept asking for it. I didn't plan it.
Think about this: Nvidia started as a video game 3D chip company. Netflix started mailing DVDs. Apple didn't know the iPhone was coming when they were building desktop computers.
Nobody starts with the final business model. Just start.
V: Reinvesting & Scaling w/ Asymmetric Bets
How I'm currently playing financial markets. NFA.
Once you start making money with AI, it's important to think about how you'll actually start scaling your bankroll by utilising financial markets.
Portfolio construction
The split I run personally is roughly 70-80% passive, 20-30% aggressive.
The passive sleeve is index funds, gold, and sectors I'm bullish on long-term to hedge against inflation and compound slowly in the background.
The aggressive sleeve is where I can take some asymmetric bets in markets like crypto, where I personally have an edge.

It's also important to me to keep cash on hand to reinvest back into the business, cut angel checks, etc.
I personally believe I can outperform the market's 10% per year growth rate with my business.
$1,000,000 at 10% = $100,000 capped upside in S&P 500.
$1,000,000 in my business = infinite upside.
Last tip: speed up your research with AI.
I literally used to spend 8+ hours/day researching financial markets. Now that number is closer to ~2.
I highly recommend setting up AI systems to monitor financial sectors, alert you of potential trade setups, etc.
