Based on the six methods from William Blundell's How the Wall Street Journal Tells Stories, this Skill diagnoses and refines an existing draft across six dimensions: character positioning, micro-crafted openings, mysterious leads, numerical reference points, metaphor self-checks, and interwoven evidence. It first produces a diagnostic report, including six-dimension radar-chart scores, and only refines the draft after the user confirms. Throughout, it preserves the author's human presence and personal metaphor library. Version 2.0 adds an “Insightful Observer” tier to character positioning as the default, combines micro-crafted openings and mystery into an “Insight-First Check,” and adds quantitative 0–10 scoring across six dimensions with a text-based radar chart. Suitable for second-pass refinement of nonfiction, including public-account long-form articles, Xiaohongshu posts, and column drafts. This is a polisher, not a generator—the user must already have a draft.
