"Claude x Overseas Affiliate" Created a Gold Rush (Prompts Included)

'I can't speak English, and I don't feel like I can create content for overseas.'

That's what I thought, but through 'Claude x Overseas Affiliate' which I started last year, I've reached a monthly income of 720,000 yen by myself as of July.

Moreover, no face shown, no filming, no sales.

All I do is have Claude write English articles and introduce products through overseas affiliate programs.

You might think, 'Is it really that convenient?'

I thought the same thing until six months ago.

But after actually trying it, my honest impression is that the scale is 'on a different level' compared to the Japanese affiliate market.

There are three reasons.

First is the market size. The English-speaking affiliate market is more than 30 times larger than Japan's. Simply put, you can reach 30 times more readers with the same effort.

Second is the unit price. In overseas ASPs (Affiliate Service Providers), deals for $30 to $100 per conversion are everywhere. Since it's in dollars, your take-home pay automatically grows as long as the yen remains weak.

Third is the lack of competitors. Almost no one is posting about 'Overseas Affiliate x AI' in Japanese. You can become a pioneer in a market with no rivals.

And the main character making this possible is 'Claude'.

Writing English articles was originally the biggest hurdle for Japanese people. But with Claude, that hurdle becomes zero.

- Traffic Source: With Google Search x Pinterest x Reddit, traffic accumulates even without social media management.

And to run these three as an individual, the biggest wall was 'whether you can write natural articles in English.'

That wall was erased by Claude.

Claude's English output has reached a level where even native speakers find it natural.

I only use the Claude Pro monthly plan. With it, I write more than 30 English comparison articles a month.

'The Claude API cost per article is about 50 yen.'

With this cost structure, just one conversion on a $50 deal gives you a nearly 100x return.

Actually, the overseas affiliate market is more advantageous for beginners.

Many people think, 'Isn't overseas for advanced users?' but it's actually the opposite.

The Japanese affiliate market has too many competitors, and it takes at least 6 months to a year for a beginner to break into the top ranks.

In contrast, overseas has many niche genres that no Japanese people are attacking.

For example, a genre I struck gold in last year was comparison articles introducing Japanese tourism information in English.

Keywords like 'Best Ryokan in Kyoto,' 'Tokyo hidden restaurants,' and 'Japan travel SIM comparison' have tens to hundreds of thousands of monthly searches, yet almost no decent English comparison articles existed.

You can leverage the advantage of being a Japanese person writing in English, and ensure the quality of the English with Claude.

The moment I realized this, I completely pivoted to overseas in parallel with the Japanese market.

Six months ago, I was at a standstill with Japanese affiliates.

I'll be honest.

Until six months ago, I was hovering around 100,000 to 150,000 yen a month with Japanese affiliates.

- Rakuten ROOM peaked at 50,000 yen/month

- Amazon Associates peaked at 30,000 yen/month

All of these have tens to hundreds of thousands of monthly searches, yet if a Japanese person writes them with Claude, they can compete with overwhelming information density.

STEP 2: Mass-produce English Articles with Claude

Once the niche genre is decided, write a comparison article with Claude.

With this prompt, a 2,500 to 3,500-word English comparison article is finished in 20 to 30 minutes.

The first article I wrote was for the keyword 'Best travel SIM for Japan 2026,' and I published the draft Claude gave me almost as-is. It became a main earner, making $1,200 a month within 3 weeks.

STEP 3: Register with Overseas ASPs and Insert Links

I'll list the major overseas ASPs in order of registration priority for beginners:

1. Amazon Associates US (Easy to register, low unit price but earns through volume)
2. Impact (Many high-class brand deals, unit price $30–$100)
3. ShareASale (Abundant deals in travel and lifestyle goods)
4. CJ Affiliate (Many direct contracts with major brands)
5. Awin (Strong in European deals)

Registration goes through without problems using Japanese address and bank information (only Amazon Associates US requires filling out the US tax form W-8BEN).

Once you choose a deal at each ASP, just insert the link under the product name in the article Claude wrote.

The ironclad rule is 'one deal per article.' Just like Japanese affiliates, if you list too many deals, the conversion rate drops.

STEP 4: Create Traffic via Pinterest

What works best for overseas affiliates is traffic via Pinterest.

In Japan, there are still few creators using Pinterest seriously, but in the English-speaking world, it becomes a traffic source stronger than SEO.

Actual Monthly Revenue Trends

Here are the numbers:

• Month 1: $0 (8 articles published, period where Google hasn't evaluated yet)
• Month 2: $150 (1st article starts appearing in search)
• Month 3: $620 (Search rankings rise, Pinterest traffic starts appearing)
• Month 4: $1,850 (At the point of 20th article published)
• Month 5: $2,900

• As of July: $4,800 (Approx. 720,000 yen)

This curve is one you can absolutely never draw with Japanese affiliates.

To reach 700,000 yen in the 7th month with Japanese affiliates, you'd need thousands of followers + 50+ articles + LINE Official Account setup.

With overseas affiliates, you can reach it with just 30 articles + ASP registration + Pinterest posts.

I also failed a few times

It might look smooth, but I've had failures too.

Failure 1: Leaning too much into 'Japanese Tourism' for the first 10 articles

When I wrote the first 10 articles all about 'Japan travel,' it was too seasonal, and traffic halved during the off-season (Jan-Mar).

-> I started writing for genres with year-round demand (computer peripherals, kitchenware, subscription comparisons) in parallel, and seasonal fluctuations disappeared.

Failure 2: Concentrating only on Amazon Associates US

Amazon Associates US is easy to register, but the unit price is low at 2-4%. Even for a $50 product, the reward was $1-$2.

-> When I expanded to Impact, ShareASale, and CJ, I started getting $30-$80 rewards from the same articles.

Failure 3: Publishing 20 articles simultaneously in parallel

Immediately after publication, Google judged it as a 'mass-produced site,' and rankings didn't rise.

The pattern of failure was always 'acting according to the same rules as Japanese affiliates.'

Overseas has its own rhythm. Once I grasped that, the revenue curve took off.
