TL;DR

This guide details a powerful workflow using the limited-time free access to Claude Fable 5 and NotebookLM to synthesize personal history into a 12-month actionable life strategy and visual roadmap.

The deadline is July 13 (Monday) at 15:59 JST. Until then, you can use the world's strongest thinking AI within the scope of your paid plan—meaning zero additional cost.

The promotion period for Anthropic's top-tier model, Claude Fable 5 (allowing use within paid plans like Pro without extra fees), has been extended to July 13 at 15:59 JST.

This means a super-premium AI, which normally requires pay-as-you-go credits, is included in your plan for now. When I heard about this extension, I immediately thought: This period shouldn't be used for work shortcuts. It should be used to analyze my own life.

This article is a sequel to my previous story about the Self-Note.

A Self-Note is a record of your strengths, weaknesses, values, purposes, goals, and weekly progress stocked in NotebookLM. In that article, I wrote that this note would become the ultimate self-introduction material to give to any AI.

And now, the greatest AI in history to give it to is right in front of us for a limited time. For those already growing their Self-Note, the day to hand it all over has finally come. For those who haven't, there's still time to start now.

There are only three steps. Output everything about yourself from your NotebookLM Self-Note. Give it to Claude Fable 5 to thoroughly analyze a life strategy for realizing your dreams. Return the resulting strategy document to NotebookLM to transform it into slides and infographics to keep in sight every day.

It is a round trip of knowing with NotebookLM, thinking with Fable 5, and visualizing again with NotebookLM.

We can move because there is a deadline. Let's talk about dreams with a deadline attached.

Chapter 1: What is Happening Now—Only Three Things You Need to Know

You don't need to follow the news details. You only need to know three things for this article.

1. Claude Fable 5 is the Strongest Brain Available Now

Claude Fable 5 is the latest AI announced by Anthropic in June 2026. While Opus was previously the top model, Fable 5 is a newly established class with the highest performance in history. Stripping away the technicalities, it has three main features:

1. It can complete long and complex thinking.

Conventional AI often lost track during deep analysis, but Fable 5's greatest strength is running through complex tasks with consistent quality.

2. It can read the equivalent of several books at once.

With a 1-million-token capacity, you can feed it multiple thick business books. It can easily handle your entire Self-Note with room to spare.

3. It can write massive amounts at once.

With an output capacity of up to 128,000 tokens per response, it can deliver a thick strategy document rather than a shallow summary in one go.

You might have noticed: Long complex thinking, massive input, and thick output. The task that requires all three is life strategy planning. Fable 5 was practically born for this.

2. Available Without Extra Charge Until July 13, 15:59 JST

Fable 5 is normally an incredibly expensive AI. After the period ends, it will only be available via pay-as-you-go credits separate from existing plans, with a unit price twice that of Opus. It won't be a price where you can casually ask it to think about your whole life.

But now is different. Until July 13 at 15:59 JST, paid plan users (Pro, etc.) can use Fable 5 for up to 50% of their weekly limit at no extra cost.

To be clear, it's not free for everyone; a paid plan is required. However, for paid users, this is a chance to use an AI that normally costs a premium. This is a second chance created by the extension.

One note: Fable 5 consumes usage limits faster than other models. So the strategy is not to use it for everything, but to throw only the heaviest single blow to Fable 5. This article's design is built that way from the start.

3. For Free Users, Subscribing Just for This Period is an Option

Honestly, Fable 5 isn't available on the free plan. You need a Pro plan (approx. $20/month). I won't force it, but here is my honest take: If you can get the highest-performance AI to seriously plan your life strategy for the cost of one month's subscription, I think it's cheap.

For the price of one night out, you can borrow this thinking power. If it doesn't suit you, just cancel the next month. It's a valid choice to subscribe just for this. For current paid users, there's no reason not to do it.

Chapter 2: Why You Should Focus This Period on Dream Analysis

You might think you should use this strongest AI for work verification. That's also correct. But I recommend prioritizing dream analysis for two reasons.

Reason 1: Work Efficiency Can Be Done Weekly; Life Strategy is a One-Off

Summarizing documents, drafting emails, and daily research can be done by other AIs. You can improve those next week or the week after. It's a waste to use a limited-time top-tier AI for tasks you do continuously.

On the other hand, asking what your dreams are and how to fight this year to achieve them isn't something you do every week. Once you think it through seriously, it's a one-off task that keeps working for you.

And you should put the best available brain into one-off tasks. You wouldn't take an F1 car to a convenience store, but if you're entering the biggest race of your life, there's no better choice.

Moreover, the output—the life strategy document—won't disappear when the period ends. By stocking it in your NotebookLM Self-Note, what you created in five days becomes an asset you can use forever. Creating a permanent asset with a temporary AI is the goal.

Reason 2: A Strategy Based on Reading Everything About You Was Previously Impossible

In my Self-Note article, I wrote that an AI that doesn't understand you won't give answers for you. If you get generic advice when consulting an AI about your dreams, it's not because the AI isn't smart, but because you haven't given it your information.

However, there were technical limits to giving everything. As a Self-Note grows—strengths, weaknesses, experiences, goals, and months of reflections—the volume becomes massive. Conventional AI would miss details or lose context. You had to narrow it down.

Fable 5's 1-million-token window breaks this limit. You can let it read your entire Self-Note without cutting anything. And its ability to complete complex thinking allows it to write a strategy that accounts for all that information without breaking down.

A proposal that picks up the commonalities between a stumble three weeks ago and a success six months ago—an AI strategy that has read everything about you is an experience that has just become realistic.

Chapter 3: STEP 1—Output Everything from Your Self-Note

The first step is preparing the material for Fable 5. This is NotebookLM's job. Output your stocked information into a single text.

The Keyword is: Output comprehensively and thoroughly, exceeding character limits.

Open your Self-Note and send this prompt to the chat:

I will have Claude Fable 5 thoroughly analyze a life strategy to realize my dreams. As material for that, please output the information about me stocked in this note—strengths, weaknesses, values, experiences, purposes, goals, progress, etc.—comprehensively and thoroughly, exceeding character limits.

Do not provide strategy or roadmap suggestions. Your job is to output the stocked information without omission. Do not omit specific episodes, numbers, dates, or emotional descriptions.

The key phrase is output comprehensively and thoroughly, exceeding character limits. Left alone, NotebookLM tries to summarize for readability. That's great for humans, but the reader here is Fable 5. The more raw information you provide, the higher the strategy's accuracy. If it can't output everything at once, do it in parts and join them. Fable 5 can read 1 million tokens, so don't worry about it being too much.

Once you copy the output text, STEP 1 is complete. This takes 5 minutes.

For Those Without a Self-Note—You Can Still Make It

If you haven't made a Self-Note yet, there's a shortcut. You don't need a perfect note. If you have two materials, Fable 5 will think surprisingly deeply.

First, talk to a recording app for 10 minutes. What made you happy or frustrated at work? What are you good or bad at? What do you really want to become? It doesn't have to be polished. NotebookLM can use audio files as sources, so just throw the recording in.

Second, dig through your usual AI logs. If you use ChatGPT or Gemini, send this: "I want to verbalize my thoughts. Thoroughly analyze my experiences, thoughts, purposes, values, and interests from my past chat history and output them comprehensively." Your daily consultations contain a massive amount of your subconscious thinking.

Put these two into a new notebook, run the output prompt above, and you have an instant Self-Note. It won't beat a nurtured one, but the difference between zero and a 10-minute recording is heaven and earth.

Chapter 4: STEP 2—The Life Strategy Prompt for Fable 5

This is the heart of the article. Throw the material from STEP 1 into Fable 5 along with this prompt. Select Fable 5 in the Claude model picker and paste the following:

The God Prompt for a Life Strategy Document

You are the world's best life strategy consultant hired for me alone. Below is everything about me accumulated in NotebookLM—strengths, weaknesses, values, experiences, purposes, goals, and progress. Read every word and work with me to create a Life Strategy Document.

[Absolute Rules] - Prohibit generalities. All analysis and suggestions must be based on my information, citing specific parts like "From your description of..." - Do not flatter me. I expect you to point out hard truths, but always pair them with countermeasures. - Go deep, not broad. Think through each item thoroughly.

[Process Rules (Most Important)] - The strategy document has 6 parts. Do not output them all at once. - Output one part at a time, focusing all your effort on the highest quality for that section. - At the end of each part, provide 1-3 follow-up questions for me to deepen the content and wait for my response. - Reflect my answers and corrections, refine that part, get my agreement, and then move to the next part. - After completing Part 6, output the full Final Version of the Life Strategy Document reflecting all dialogue. This is an asset I will save forever in NotebookLM. Do not summarize; use your maximum output capacity.

[Structure of the Life Strategy Document] Part 1: Analysis of Me as a Human - Redefining strengths (discover strengths I haven't noticed from the text) - Structural analysis of weaknesses (identify common failure patterns from records) - Core values (narrow down to 3 things I truly value, with evidence)

Part 2: Dream Gap Analysis - Define the state of the dream realized as a specific scene - Measure the distance from the current location based on facts in my records - List gaps to fill in order of importance

Part 3: Three Strategy Options - Design routes A, B, and C to the dream - Include summary, strengths to leverage, required period, and maximum risk for each - Recommend one based on my personality, situation, and values, and explain why

Part 4: 12-Month Roadmap (Based on recommended plan) - Monthly milestones and one key theme per month - Predict months where I might stumble due to my weaknesses and provide preemptive measures

Part 5: Pre-Mortem of Failure - Assume the plan failed one year from now. Describe the 3 most likely failure scenarios based on my records as stories. - Reflect prevention measures for each in the Part 4 roadmap

Part 6: Design of a 1-Week Execution Cycle - Design a weekly rhythm to run the roadmap - Basic form: Action Mon-Fri, reflection in NotebookLM on Sat-Sun - Break down into specific daily actions suited to my life and personality - Ensure the difficulty is sustainable. No overreaching.

Now, please start with Part 1.

(Paste your material from STEP 1 here)

I'll explain four design intentions:

1. Citing prevents generalities.

AI life advice often becomes thin because it retreats into generalities. Forcing it to cite your text ensures every suggestion is for you alone.

2. Creating through dialogue is the lifeline.

Fable 5 could spit out a 6-part document at once. But people don't use perfect strategy documents that just appear. They read, get impressed, and close them. By using a 6-step dialogue, the document becomes a plan you thought through. The difference is ownership.

3. The Pre-Mortem is the backbone.

Roadmaps with only success plans collapse at the first hurdle. By describing a failed future as a story and weaving prevention into the plan, the accuracy is much higher.

4. The Final Version uses maximum output.

When the dialogue is done, let it output everything. It doesn't matter if it's tens of thousands of words. The destination for this is not a screen for you to read, but a source for NotebookLM.

Chapter 5: STEP 3—Return the Strategy to NotebookLM to Visualize Your Dream

You have the ultimate strategy document. But if you stop here, it will suffer the same fate as New Year's resolutions: made, satisfied, and forgotten.

Turn the Strategy into Slides and Infographics

Copy the full text from Fable 5 and save it as a new note in your NotebookLM Self-Note, then convert it to a source. Now it's a permanent asset.

Next, use NotebookLM's slide generation. In the custom prompt, enter:

Based on the Life Strategy Document source, create slides to visualize my dream and 12-month roadmap. - Slide 1: Declaration of my dream and purpose (large and simple) - Slide 2: Strengths to leverage and overall strategy map - Slides 3+: Monthly milestones in roadmap format - Final Slide: What to do in the first 7 days - Use a positive, high-visibility infographic-style design that I'll want to see every morning.

In minutes, your year becomes a few images. A written strategy is for reading; slides are for seeing. This difference determines whether you continue.

Things Placed Where You Can See Them Start to Come True

Place the generated slides in your daily path. Use the dream declaration as your phone wallpaper. Print the roadmap for your desk. I recommend opening these slides before you start your weekly reflection in NotebookLM. It makes you feel like you're reporting your location to a GPS.

If you see it, you can measure it. If you measure it, you notice deviations. If you notice, you can fix it.

Chapter 6: How to Walk the Remaining Days—Usage and Cautions

Fable 5 usage limits are finite and consume quickly. You need a strategy.

Throw Only the Main Blow to Fable 5

Preparation is for NotebookLM and your usual AI. Fable 5 is for the actual thinking. STEP 1 and STEP 3 don't consume Fable 5 limits. Only STEP 2 does.

Suggested schedule:

  • Today/Tomorrow: STEP 1 (Preparation).
  • Weekend: STEP 2 (The 6-part dialogue. Set aside 2-3 hours).
  • Monday Morning: STEP 3 (Visualization) and buffer.

The deadline is July 13 at 15:59 JST. It's not Monday night, so be careful.

Absolute Caution—Your Self-Note is a Bundle of Personal Info

Once you paste it into Claude, your info leaves the closed vault of NotebookLM. Before pasting, scan the text and replace real names, company names, or specific amounts with placeholders like "Company A" or "Mr. B." Strategy accuracy won't drop much if you hide specific nouns. Convenience and security always come as a set.

Summary: Dreams with Deadlines Start Moving

Let's recap:

  • STEP 1: Output everything from your Self-Note.
  • STEP 2: Use the Life Strategy Prompt with Fable 5 for a 6-part dialogue.
  • STEP 3: Return the strategy to NotebookLM and visualize it.

The deadline is July 13, 15:59 JST. This is likely the last chance to borrow the world's best brain for no extra charge. Use a temporary AI to create a permanent asset.
