First, I sat down with excitement. When it started, the Warner Bros. logo appeared! Naturally, it doesn't shake here. While that was happening, a somewhat strange intro ended and the main story began! I dived into the world of "Gintama" along with the shaking of the seats! The part where the logo settles is cool. The Kabukicho part is still peaceful. But Gin-san's punches are quite painful... I can understand why Seita was tearing up. I think about a third of the reason he was crying at Snack Otose was the pain from the punches.
The scene in the elevator descending to Yoshiwara Paradise feels realistic with the elevator's vibration. The vibration of the Justaway held by Elizabeth is also realistically reproduced (?) And then, the long-awaited appearance of the Shinsengumi! This is where 4DX starts to show its true potential. First, I was surprised by the impact of the scene where Hijikata kicks Kondo! I was like, "Wait, does 4DX shake this much? Isn't Hijikata-san being too cruel?" Next, I was surprised by the impact of the battle at the dango shop with Gin-san! You can experience being realistically beaten up by Gin-san with his wooden sword. It's still the first half, but let's get our bodies used to the impact around here.
Then, without a moment to catch my breath, characters like Tsukuyo, Kamui, and Hosen appear, and the battle starts! Shake, shake, shake! Waaaaaah! For some reason, even in the gag scenes, it shakes in time with Shinpachi's retorts! It shakes during explosions too! After this, it's pretty much shaking the whole time (to put it simply).
The battle between Hosen and Kamui especially feels like you're experiencing it yourself, but since it shakes whether you're hit by Hosen or Kamui, I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not. Goodbye, Ungyo. Also, something flew at me... blood (water)? You can experience a very realistic physical brawl.
Next, the Yorozuya finally infiltrates Hosen's mansion! And then, the super battle of Kagura and Shinpachi vs. Abuto! You can experience being trampled by Abuto and beaten up by Kagura as she flies around freely. Shinpachi is also very active! This scene is just fast! It shakes all over, vertically and horizontally, like a roller coaster.
As the story enters the second half, it powers up even more, but if I write any more, it'll be a total spoiler, so I'll just introduce the highlights. In short, this is the only place where you can experience the world's most shaking "Sanzen" (Brilliant)!! The final battle between Gin-san and Hosen is truly amazing. Moreover, in addition to the battle, there are effects like smoke and bubbles, and the direction beyond just shaking is emotional (※ effects may vary or be absent depending on the theater)! You should definitely experience it in a theater!
By the way, the staff's most recommended scene is being able to experience the scene in the epilogue where the Justaway gets stuck in that.
